General Description
The primary responsibility of the Podium Supervisor is to support restaurant managers by leading the day-to-day operations for the Host/Hostess team. This person must possess effective leadership skills, including relationship building, delegation, coaching and training. In addition, the Podium Supervisor must be very organized, and be able to multi-task and prioritize successfully. This person must be able to make decisions quickly without supervision, and must effectively communicate with all guests and team members.
Work Duties
<ul><li>Provide guidance, leadership, coaching and training for the Host/Hostess team</li>
<li>Provide leadership support as needed for the entire front-of-house team, which may include opening or closing shifts as the on-duty supervisor</li>
<li>Provide leadership guidance and assistance at the Point-of-Sale systems as needed</li>
<li>Assist with guest satisfaction checks and provide guest recovery as needed</li>
<li>Delegate tasks to Host/Hostess team as appropriate</li>
<li>Answer phone in a timely and appropriate manner</li>
<li>Prepare and maintain Host/Hostess area for guest arrival</li>
<li>Properly and efficiently utilize the restaurant reservation, seating and paging systems</li>
<li>Politely greet all guests in a timely fashion</li>
<li>Lead guests to the table and seat guests in an appropriate fashion</li>
<li>Politely inform guests of wait times and prepare wait lists as necessary</li>
<li>Answer any guest questions as necessary</li>
<li>Offer all guests a fond farewell</li>
<li>Have basic knowledge of acceptable forms of payment and the Disney Dining Plan</li>
<li>Maintain personal appearance and hygiene in a manner consistent with Disney and Company standards</li>
<li>Perform work duties in compliance with all Company guidelines and policies</li>
<li>Display proper food safety procedures at all times</li>
<li>Follow all necessary laws and processes for the safe service of alcohol</li>
<li>Work closely with all other team members and display good teamwork</li>
<li>Follow the Disney 5-Keys Basics, Service Basics and Company Guidelines at all times</li>
<li>All other tasks as assigned</li>

 <div>Work Experience &amp; Education Requirements
<ul><li>Minimum of one year of restaurant experience</li>
<li>Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>Minimum of three years of previous host/hostess experience preferred</li>
<li>Previous leadership experience preferred</li>
<li>Previous experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant environment preferred</li>
<li>Knowledge of Mexican cuisine and beverages a plus</li>
<li>Must have or be able to obtain a State of Florida Food Safety Certificate</li>
<li>Must have or be able to obtain a Florida Responsible Vendors Certificate</li>
<li>Must be well versed in food safety - including proper techniques for handling food and personal hygiene requirements</li>
<li>Must be well versed in laws and company practices regarding the safe and legal service of alcoholic beverages</li>
</ul>
Working Conditions &amp; Physical Requirements
<ul><li>Must be able to perform all necessary job functions</li>
<li>Must be able to stand and be mobile for up to 4 consecutive hours</li>
<li>Must be able to function in narrow spaces, such as those found in kitchens and dining rooms</li>
<li>Must be able to lift and carry equipment/food up to 50 pounds</li>
<li>Must be able to push and pull (carts, doors etc.)</li>
<li>Must be able to reach, bend, kneel, stoop and crouch</li>
<li>Must be able to perform repetitive tasks</li>
<li>Must be able to complete work duties in a variety of environmental conditions, including coolers, freezers, kitchen environments and outdoors</li>
<li>Must be able to work around foods containing various food allergens</li>

General Description
The primary responsibilities of a Bartender include taking exceptional care of guests and ensuring servers receive bar orders accurately and in a timely fashion. In order to be successful, a Bartender must possess the knowledge and ability to prepare high-quality drinks in a fast paced environment. In addition, bartenders must have a high degree of knowledge of all food items being served, be able to speak confidently and politely to all guests, be able to read and provide for the wants and needs of each guest, and be able to prioritize tasks in order to work in an efficient and organized manner.
Work Duties
<ul><li>Prepare bar and lounge area for guest arrival</li>
<li>Know and be able to explain all food and beverage items on the menus</li>
<li>Know and be able to explain any featured items or specials</li>
<li>Politely greet guests in a timely fashion</li>
<li>Lead guests through the restaurant menus and make appropriate menu suggestions</li>
<li>Suggestively sell and upsell menu items as appropriate</li>
<li>Answer any guest questions as necessary</li>
<li>Ring guest orders accurately into the POS system</li>
<li>Prepare guest drink orders quickly and efficiently</li>
<li>Be able to prepare drinks accurately and according to the recipe</li>
<li>Deliver each order to the guest or server in a timely fashion</li>
<li>Observe proper service procedures when serving food and beverage items</li>
<li>Follow up with guests at appropriate times to ensure satisfaction and refill beverages</li>
<li>Clear bar area and/or tables of unnecessary items at appropriate times</li>
<li>Process guest payments accurately and quickly following company cash handling procedures</li>
<li>Maintain the bar area in a clean and organized condition</li>
<li>Receive and properly store all liquor, beer and wine orders</li>
<li>Work with managers to ensure proper par levels of all bar items are maintained</li>
<li>Prepare essential bar products such as simple syrup, fresh lime juice, and drink mixes as necessary</li>
<li>Complete all assigned opening and closing duties</li>
<li>Display proper food safety procedures at all times</li>
<li>Follow all necessary laws and processes for the safe service of alcohol</li>
