We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and help streamline our development and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both software development and system administration, playing a key role in our infrastructure and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) workflows. You will be responsible for automating and optimizing our operations, ensuring the smooth deployment of applications, and maintaining the scalability and reliability of our systems. This is a full-time position on-site, based in Qatar.Required qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum of 1-2 years&rsquo; work experience in DevOps</li><li>Strong understanding of Linux or Unix operating systems.</li><li>Knowledge of Version Control Systems, particularly experience with Git and platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket for version control.</li><li>Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Shell scripting to automate tasks.</li><li>Familiarity with Cloud Native Platforms, such as AWS, Azure, etc.</li><li>Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and managing containerized applications.</li><li>Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.</li><li>Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Fluentd, Grafana, ELK stack, or Splunk.</li><li>Understanding of basic networking concepts like DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and VPNs.</li></ul>Preferred qualifications:<ul><li>Familiarity with large-scale distributed software systems in the context of storage and networking.</li><li>Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Cloud Certified - Professional DevOps Engineer, or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) can be a plus.</li><li>Understanding of database management of SQL and NoSQL databases can be beneficial.</li><li>Awareness of security practices in the DevOps pipeline, including managing secrets, access control, and compliance.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: Up to QAR12,000.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>How would you rate your DevOps expertise overall (Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced)?</li></ul>Briefly explain what makes you rate yourself at that level.<ul><li>Describe your hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.</li></ul>Include examples of how you&rsquo;ve used them in production (for example, deploying, scaling, or managing applications in a cluster).<ul><li>How have you implemented CI/CD pipelines in your previous projects?</li></ul>Mention which tools you used and what processes you automated.<ul><li>Which cloud platforms have you worked with?</li></ul>Give an example of what services or resources you deployed or managed there.Location:<ul><li>Doha (Preferred)</li></ul>
