Purpose
The Manager, Analytics Engineering leads the Analytics Engineering track within the Data &amp; Analytics organization, owning the semantic layer between raw pipeline output and BI consumption. This function owns Gold-layer table design, Unity Catalog metric view definitions, Silver-to-Gold promotion logic, and data product development in a Databricks-native environment. By establishing governed, reusable metric views as the canonical source of truth for business metrics, the Analytics Engineering track enables consistent, trustworthy analytics delivery across BI, external partner feeds, and AI model inputs.
Responsibilities
Semantic Layer Ownership<ul><li>
Owns the Unity Catalog semantic layer as the canonical, governed source of truth for all business metrics: metric view definitions, Silver-to-Gold promotion logic, data mart architecture, and data product development.</li><li>
Establishes the principle that every business metric is defined once as a metric view and made available, consistently and correctly, to every downstream consumer: Power BI dashboards via DirectLake, external partner feeds, internal analytics, and AI model inputs.</li><li>
Sets and enforces standards for metric view design, naming conventions, versioning, and documentation, in alignment with Data Governance metadata standards and Unity Catalog access controls.</li><li>
Partners with the Data Architecture on Gold-layer design decisions, ensuring the semantic layer is architecturally sound, maintainable, and scalable as the platform grows.</li></ul>
Data Product Development<ul><li>
Leads the development of reusable data products in Unity Catalog, building the data product catalog that enables self-service analytics discovery without ad-hoc engineering intervention.</li><li>
Ensures analytics requests enter the engineering pipeline with defined acceptance criteria and data product specifications before build work begins, in coordination with Informatics intake.</li><li>
Drives consistency and reuse across analytics delivery by replacing bespoke, one-off SQL derivation with governed, versioned metric views and data products.</li></ul>
Team Leadership &amp; Development<ul><li>
Develops a team culture oriented around the semantic layer discipline, which is distinct from both Data Engineering (pipeline and platform focused) and Analytics &amp; BI (dashboard and report focused).</li><li>
Builds individual development plans and career frameworks for the team, defining clear growth paths within the Analytics Engineering track.</li><li>
Fosters a culture of standards adherence, documentation discipline, and reusability across all data product and metric view development.</li></ul>
Cross-Functional Partnership<ul><li>
Partners with Analytics &amp; BI to ensure metric views meet BI consumption requirements and that the Analytics &amp; BI team builds on the semantic layer without re-deriving logic.</li><li>
Partners with Data Engineering to ensure Gold-layer tables and Silver-to-Gold promotion logic are aligned with the data engineering platform architecture.</li><li>
Partners with Data Governance to ensure metric view definitions are governed assets: ownership assigned, lineage tracked, and metadata standards enforced.</li><li>
Partners with Informatics to ensure analytics requests enter the build pipeline with defined scope and acceptance criteria.</li><li>
Partners with QA to support data layer validation of analytics outputs against governance-defined quality dimensions.</li></ul>
Required Qualifications<ul><li>
7+ years of progressive data engineering or analytics engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a people management or team lead capacity.</li><li>
Deep, hands-on expertise with Databricks: Unity Catalog, metric views, Delta Lake, medallion architecture, and Silver-to-Gold promotion logic in production environments.</li><li>
Demonstrated experience owning or building a semantic layer function: metric definitions, data product development, and the discipline of defining business metrics once for reuse across consumers.</li><li>
Clear understanding of analytics engineering as a distinct discipline from data engineering (pipelines, ingestion) and BI (dashboards, reports); able to articulate and hire to that distinction.</li><li>
Proficiency in SQL and PySpark; sufficient to set engineering standards, review code quality, and make architecture decisions for the semantic layer.</li><li>
Proven ability to build and lead teams, including establishing standards and practices in a function without an existing organizational identity to inherit.</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>
Healthcare, specialty pharmacy, or regulated industry experience with exposure to clinical or operational data environments.</li><li>
Experience with data product design, data product catalogs, and self-service analytics enablement in a governed Databricks environment.</li><li>
Familiarity with data governance frameworks and experience designing semantic layer assets to meet governance metadata and lineage standards.</li><li>
Experience with data catalog tooling (Atlan, Collibra, or equivalent) and designing metric views as catalogued, governed assets.</li><li>
Exposure to AI/ML platform integration: understanding how semantic layer and metric view design decisions affect model input quality and feature engineering.</li><li>
Familiarity with pipeline observability platforms (Monte Carlo or equivalent) and how observability integrates with semantic layer asset monitoring.</li><li>
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.</li></ul>
Work Environment
This position works in a home office and professional office environment. When in-office this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and communications via MS Teams.

Purpose:
The Clinical Authorization and Appeals Specialist provides support and education to health care providers for prescribed treatment therapies. This role serves as a single point of contact for health care providers to coordinate alignment of documentation with prior authorization and appeals criteria. This role submits timely prior authorizations requests, appeals, initiatives to increase patient adherence, and closes collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Educates health care providers regarding prior authorization and appeals criteria for prescribed therapies.</li><li>
Assesses clinical documentation provided and assist the health care provider with alignment to specific plan criteria.</li><li>
Creates initiatives to increase patient adherence and optimize patient care.</li><li>
Possess a broad and deep understanding of assigned disease states, products, and clinical programs.</li><li>
Closes collaboration with program team members as well as external stakeholders.</li><li>
Performs appropriate and accurate documentation of cases using call management software.</li><li>
Demonstrates appropriate judgment skills to be able to make independent clinical decisions.</li><li>
Fosters teamwork by trusting and supporting each other while encouraging collaboration at all levels of the organization. Embraces diversity and demonstrates the ability to work together.</li><li>
Provides superior customer service to internal and external clients, customers, and patients.</li><li>

Required Qualifications:<ul><li>
Associate degree or bachelor&rsquo;s degree from an accredited nursing school as a Registered Nurse (RN).</li><li>

Strong writing and grammar skills.</li><li>
Strong organizational skills and a thorough knowledge of computers (Microsoft Office and Windows) are required.</li><li>

Purpose
The Manager, Data Engineering leads the Data Engineering track within the Data &amp; Analytics organization, owning the foundational data platform: pipeline development, source system ingestion, Silver and Gold layer transformation logic, EDW design and operations, and the Databricks platform infrastructure. This role is responsible for building and leading a high-performing engineering team, maintaining the reliability and scalability of the data platform, and delivering the engineering foundation that the Analytics Engineering, Analytics &amp; BI, and Partner Data Services tracks depend on.
Responsibilities
Platform Engineering &amp; Architecture<ul><li>
Owns the data engineering platform: Databricks medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers), Delta Lake pipelines, source system ingestion patterns, and EDW design and operations.</li><li>
Leads the evolution of ingestion patterns toward event-driven, low-latency architectures using Azure Event Hubs and Structured Streaming for high-SLA source systems.</li><li>
Sets and enforces engineering standards for pipeline development, code quality, testing, documentation, and deployment across the Data Engineering track.</li><li>
Partners with the Data Architecture on architecture decisions, ensuring new pipelines are designed to support governance-defined lineage capture, quality checkpoints, and observability requirements.</li></ul>
EDW Ownership &amp; Operations<ul><li>
Owns the enterprise data warehouse as a production system: data model integrity, pipeline reliability, ingestion SLAs, and incident response.</li><li>
Maintains and evolves EDW architecture, feed logic, and Gold harmonization rules, ensuring critical platform knowledge is documented and distributed across the team rather than concentrated in individuals.</li><li>
Drives continuous improvement of platform reliability, latency, and cost efficiency across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.</li></ul>
Team Leadership &amp; Development<ul><li>
Leads, develops, and retains Sr. Data Engineers and Data Engineers, building a team with deep Databricks expertise and clear ownership of critical platform capabilities.</li><li>
Makes individual contributor hiring decisions in coordination with the Sr. Director; defines role profiles and hiring criteria for the Data Engineering track.</li><li>
Builds individual development plans, conducts performance management, and fosters a team culture of engineering craft, documentation discipline, and reliability ownership.</li></ul>
Cross-Functional Partnership<ul><li>
Partners with Analytics Engineering to ensure Gold-layer table design and Silver-to-Gold promotion logic support metric view definitions and data product requirements.</li><li>
Partners with the QA to embed validation checkpoints in pipeline architecture and support Tier 1 and Tier 2 pipeline test suite development.</li><li>
Partners with Data Governance on pipeline architecture decisions that have lineage capture, metadata, and quality policy implications.</li><li>
Partners with Partner Data Services on feed engineering work requiring new or modified pipeline development.</li></ul>
 Required Qualifications<ul><li>
