Through our two divisions&mdash;Parable Digital and Parable Retail&mdash;we deliver personalized, results-oriented marketing across digital, print, and in‑store channels.Job Description We&rsquo;re seeking a full-time Graphic Designer to produce high-quality creative across multiple formats, with a strong emphasis on catalog design, promotional marketing, and digital content. This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys taking projects from concept through completion, collaborating with a creative team, and working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing long-term production schedules alongside weekly marketing deliverables.Key Responsibilities Catalog Design &amp; Production - Lead multi-phase catalog design, layout, and production for seasonal and promotional catalogs. - Develop visual themes, cover concepts, moodboards, color palettes, and typography systems. - Collaborate with internal teams on catalog creative direction and brand alignment. - Perform catalog-related photography and photo editing as needed.Digital &amp; Print Marketing Design - Design digital marketing assets including emails, online ads, and promotional memes. - Produce print collateral such as merchandising kits, postcards, bag stuffers, and in-store materials. - Support ongoing seasonal marketing promotions through batched design cycles.Creative Collaboration &amp; Project Coordination - Contribute ideas and visual direction through brainstorming, concept development, and creation of style guides and reference materials. - Provide design support across Parable Digital and Parable Retail, assisting with digital content creation (Adobe Express) and various internal or special projects. - Manage multiple design projects using Asana and Microsoft 365 tools, participate in team meetings, and maintain organized project files and documented processes.Required Skills and Experience - 2+ years of professional graphic design experience. - Strong portfolio demonstrating layout design, typography, and brand consistency. - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). - Strong organizational and project management skills. - Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.Preferred Skills and Experience: - Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Art, Graphic Design, or Graphic Communication. - Experience with catalog design, production workflows, or long‑form layout. - Experience preparing large-scale publications for commercial printing, including prepress workflows - Web design (UI/UX) experience and familiarity with platforms like Squarespace. - Knowledge of HTML/CSS or basic motion graphics (e.g., After Effects). - Product or lifestyle photography experience (preferred)Work Environment This is a full-time position based out of our San Luis Obispo office.We offer flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements for the right candidate.Benefits &amp; CompensationWe offer a supportive, mission-driven culture and a comprehensive benefits package, including: - Medical and dental benefits - 401(k) retirement plan with company match - Paid vacation time off -A supportive and mission-driven work environmentWhy Join Us?This role is ideal for a creative professional who wants to make an impact in a collaborative, faith-driven environment.
