If you have a background in sales or customer service and areenthusiastic about regenerative agriculture and healthy food, we want to hearfrom you! The ideal candidate is punctual, organized, and brings positive energyto every interaction, coupled with strong communication skills and a can-doattitude. You'll play a key role in engaging with customers, sharing ourcommitment to sustainable practices, and ensuring a vibrant marketexperience.The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shoppingexperience by providing exceptional service, managing product displays, and ensuringthat our grocery store operates smoothly. This position requires strong communicationskills, a knack for sales, and the ability to supervise and motivate team members.Key Responsibilities:Assisting customers at the Paradise Farms market standSharing product stories and answering questionsHelping with setup, upkeep, and breakdown of the stand<ul><li>Supervise daily operations within the grocery store to ensure efficiency and high standards of customer service.</li><li>Engage with customers to provide assistance, answer questions, and promote products effectively.</li><li>Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, encouraging sales.</li><li>Maintain stock levels by organizing inventory, restocking shelves, and ensuring products are displayed attractively.</li><li>Utilize POS systems for processing transactions accurately and efficiently.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to create a positive shopping environment that fosters customer loyalty.</li><li>Perform basic math calculations for inventory management and sales tracking.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred.</li><li>Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.</li><li>Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.</li><li>Experience in sales or customer service is highly desirable.</li><li>Ability to perform product demos confidently and engage customers in conversation about products.</li><li>A proactive attitude towards stocking shelves and maintaining an organized workspace.</li><li>Join us as a Market Associate where your contributions will help create an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers!</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hourExpected hours: 7 &ndash; 9 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Employee discount</li></ul>Work Location: In person
