About the Position
We&rsquo;re looking for a Product Designer to help shape how Parafin&rsquo;s products look, feel, and work. You&rsquo;ll partner closely with product and engineering to design thoughtful, high-quality experiences across our product suite - from early concepts to polished, production-ready flows.
This role is about more than pixels. You&rsquo;ll own core user journeys end to end, explore ideas through prototyping, and bring a strong point of view on craft, usability, and visual quality. You&rsquo;ll also play a key role in evolving our design culture as the team grows.

What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing:<ul><li>
Design end-to-end product experiences for new features and improvements across Parafin&rsquo;s B2B products.</li><li>
Turn complex workflows into intuitive, elegant interfaces that feel clear and confident to users.</li><li>
Partner closely with product managers to explore ideas, design experiments, and define future product directions.</li><li>
Collaborate day-to-day with engineers to ensure designs are feasible, well-implemented, and ship as intended.</li><li>
Collaborate with user researchers to plan, synthesize, and apply insights from usability testing, customer interviews, and ongoing discovery.</li><li>
Explore and incorporate AI tools into your design workflow(e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, V0) - from research and ideation to prototyping and iteration.</li><li>
Bring a strong eye for design and visual quality, championing improvements to layout, hierarchy, typography, and interaction patterns across the product.</li><li>
Contribute to and evolve our design system - maintaining our component library and ensuring design and code stay closely aligned.</li><li>
Own projects holistically, spanning multiple product surfaces, states, edge cases, and moments across the user experience.</li><li>
Continuously raise the quality bar for design craft, usability, and execution across the product.</li></ul>
What We&rsquo;re Searching For:<ul><li>
3-5 years of experience</li><li>
A product design generalist who&rsquo;s comfortable owning UX, UI, and interaction design across complex systems.</li><li>
Experience designing consumer facing products</li><li>
Strong product thinking - you can connect user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into cohesive solutions.</li><li>
An analytical, systems-oriented mindset with the ability to simplify complexity.</li><li>
Comfort working in an iterative environment, incorporating feedback quickly and thoughtfully.</li><li>
A collaborative approach and excitement about working closely with engineering.</li><li>
Curiosity about (or hands-on experience with) AI tools in the design workflow</li></ul>
We Prefer If You Have:<ul><li>
Experience designing products in fintech, payments, or financial tools.</li><li>
Strong data visualization or information design skills.</li><li>
Familiarity with front-end concepts and constraints.</li><li>
Experience building and maintaining design systems in Figma.</li></ul>
