Job Summary and Qualifications</h5> 
As the Collections Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Director in the daily operations of the Collections functions. You are also responsible for guiding the staff in their day-to-day responsibilities, which include mentoring and training them as needed. 
In this role, you will: 
<ul><li>
Identify staffing needs and communicate those needs to the Collections Director</li><li>
Review and monitor collection reporting (e.g. EDW Trended Aging Report)
</li><li>Monitor pool inventories to ensure accounts are being worked and resolved in a timely manner.
</li><li>Review and act on high-dollar accounts as directed.
</li><li>Assure productivity of each staff member
</li><li>Review each staff member&rsquo;s productivity and QA monthly and perform annual evaluations</li><li>
Counsel staff with disciplinary, productivity and/or QA issues
</li><li>Work as a liaison between the Collections staff and other SSC staff
</li><li>Resolve issues escalated by patients, Collections staff and other departments</li></ul> 
What qualifications you will need:

Bachelor's degree in business or related field required. Equivalent work experience may substitute education requirements</li><li>
Minimum three years&rsquo; experience in related area with two of these years being healthcare management experience OR completion of the Parallon Manager Trainee Program.</li></ul>

As a work from home Clinical Denials Coding Review Specialist, you will be responsible for applying correct coding guidelines and payor requirements as it relates to researching, analyzing, and resolving outstanding clinical denials and insurance claims. This job requires regular outreach to payors and Practices.
What you will do in this role:<ul><li>
Triage incoming inventory, validating appeal criteria is met in compliance with departmental policies and procedures
</li><li>Review Medicare Recovery Audit Contractor (RAC) recoupment requests and process or appeal as appropriate
</li><li>Compose technical denial arguments for reconsideration, including both written and telephonically
</li><li>Overcome objections that prevent payment of the claim and gain commitment for payment through concise and effective appeal argument
</li><li>Identify problem accounts/processes/trends and escalate as appropriate
</li><li>Utilize effective documentation standards that support a strong historical record of actions taken on the account
</li><li>Post denials, post or correct contractual adjustments, and post other non-cash related Explanation of Benefits (EOB) information

<h5 class="jobSectionHeader">As a work from home Central Coding Director, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and evolution of the overall strategy for Parallon&rsquo;s Coding Physician Service Center. The Central Coding Director is responsible for overall coding compliance and daily coding operations for the Coding Physician Service Center. The Central Coding Director interprets policies and procedures, recommends changes as appropriate, and provides relevant feedback. The Central Coding Director assists the ACOO, Coding PSC, with the oversight and implementation of coding consolidation planning, practice expectation agreements, budgets, workflow processes and internal controls. This person serves as a key promoter of the Parallon Coding PSC and is responsible for setting the tone of Coding PSC as a service organization, continuously seeking to understand, meet and exceed practice expectations and needs.
What you will do in this role:
<ul><li>Responsible for CPSC central coding and medical record documentation improvement operations (as applicable), ensuring timeliness, accuracy, completeness, consistency, compliance and standards fulfillment as defined in practice expectations agreement
</li><li>Contributes to the development of strategic direction of Parallon coding
</li><li>Coaches and provides overall guidance to the CPSC coding team to resolve internal and external issues; help resolve dysfunctional behavior within functional area(s); discipline and counsel staff as necessary
</li><li>Monitors CPSC coding performance according to productivity and quality standards as defined in job descriptions and practice expectations documents
</li><li>Manages and motivates CPSC coding improvement operations (as applicable) staff

As a Profee Coder, you will be responsible for reviewing and coding clinical notes and operative reports for a minimum of one specialty. You will provide feedback and documentation advice to the physician, practice management, and other coders. You will also work with the denials team to resolve coding-related denials. You will be a key promoter of Central Coding and responsible for setting the tone of the Coding Physician Service Center as a service organization, continuously seeking to understand, meet, and exceed customer expectations and needs.
What you will do in this role:<ul><li>
Reviews and codes clinical notes and operative reports for assigned specialty/specialties.
</li><li>Coordinates and reconciles multiple schedules to ensure complete charge capture.
</li><li>Charge entry of codes into billing system in a timely manner.
</li><li>Work in conjunction with A/R team on follow up and resolution of coding related denials and rejections, including recommendation of new/updated coding edits.
</li><li>Responsible for maintaining current knowledge of coding guidelines and relevant federal regulations through pertinent materials.

Job Summary and Qualifications</h5>
The Billing Integrity Analyst Register Nurse (RN) is responsible for determining the appropriateness of patient charges, and Charge Description Master (CDM) assigned HCPCS/CPTs, by reviewing the medical record, facility protocol, and other applicable documentation. This review includes the verification of billing data for accuracy and completeness, following regulatory requirements, in order to resolve edits or exceptions detected during system processing of the claim in Patient Accounting, Relay Health or the payer. Applies modifiers when appropriate based on this review, and/or makes necessary adjustments to patient account charges and/or balances. Analyzes accounts for specialized billing requirements that require a review of the medical record documentation, regulatory information, and HCA standards. Uses clinical expertise when applicable to perform charge reviews and/or works on edits that are deemed appropriate for only an RN to be qualified to review and resolve. Combines or splits accounts as appropriate. Serves as a liaison between facilities Administration, Shared Services Center, and ancillary department directors regarding charging issues, clinical documentation issues and revenue opportunities. Provides charge review results and develops and coordinates educational in-services for facility staff related to charging/billing issues. Coordinates retrospective, concurrent, patient requested, and external billing audits. Reviews denial trends for documentation and charging opportunities. Serves as a primary contact for charge related SSC and facility inquiries and issues.
In this role you will:<ul><li>
Analyze and resolve specific billing edits that require an RNs clinical expertise and that are delaying claims from processing in the Patient Accounting and/or Relay Health systems. This includes the verification (and/or correction) of billing data for accuracy and completeness, by following regulatory requirements, and reviewing the medical record, facility protocol, and other applicable documentation. This also includes the application of modifiers and condition codes, as appropriate.
</li><li>Identify charging, coding, or clinical documentation issues and work with appropriate leadership and ancillary departments to resolve issues.
</li><li>Perform charge audits reviews by verifying billing data as compared to documentation and making corrections in Patient Accounting as needed.
</li><li>Analyze charge review findings, provide recommendations to facility ancillary department directors in order to improve documentation, charging flow, and accuracy.</li><li>
Serve as chargemaster liaison to facilitate clinical department education on appropriate charging of CPT codes, Revenue Codes, and communicating with Ancillary Departments to resolve issues. Coordinates updates (activate, inactivate, modification) with Ancillary Departments as necessary
</li><li>Performs assigned charge reviews (governmental, corporate, insurance defense, patient requested, collections, denials, focused review, SPAEs, cosmetics, etc.) by researching documentation, analyzing information, entering all corrections as needed and communicating error trends to provide process improvement opportunities.
</li><li>Review Regulatory and Compliance Communications, applicable CMS transmittals, and Local Coverage Decisions (LCD). Assess impact to Billing Integrity procedures and implement changes as needed. Perform NCD LCD Coverage review when requested.
</li><li>Participate in customer service events at the facility such as facility FECC Committee, new director onboarding, charge education and report charging issues as appropriate.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
RN or other advanced nursing degree required</li><li>
Active Registered Nurse License or other advanced nursing license required. Compact license for all states accepted.</li><li>
Healthcare experience in an acute care hospital or coding experience preferred. Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS codes or experience in charging or performing charge reviews</li></ul>

Job Summary and Qualifications
The Billing Integrity Analyst (credentialed) is responsible for determining the appropriateness of patient charges, and Charge Description Master (CDM) assigned HCPCS/CPTs, by reviewing the medical record, facility protocol, and other applicable documentation. This review includes the verification of billing data for accuracy and completeness, following regulatory requirements, in order to resolve edits or exceptions detected during system processing of the claim in Patient Accounting, Relay Health or the payer. Applies modifiers when appropriate based on this review, and/or makes necessary adjustments to patient account charges and/or balances. Analyzes accounts for specialized billing requirements that require a review of the medical record documentation, regulatory information, and HCA standards. Combines or splits accounts as appropriate. Serves as a liaison between facilities Administration, Shared Services Center, and ancillary department directors regarding charging issues, clinical documentation issues and revenue opportunities. Provides charge review results and develops and coordinates educational in-services for facility staff related to charging/billing issues. Coordinates retrospective, concurrent, patient requested, and external billing audits. Reviews denial trends for documentation and charging opportunities. Serves as a primary contact for charge related SSC and facility inquiries and issues.
In this role you will:
<ul><li>Analyze and resolve specific billing edits that require HCPCS/CPT coding based on the chargemaster expertise and that are delaying claims from processing in the Patient Accounting and/or Relay Health systems. This includes the verification (and/or correction) of billing data for accuracy and completeness, by following regulatory requirements, and reviewing the medical record, facility protocol, and other applicable documentation. This also includes the application of modifiers and condition codes, as appropriate.</li><li>
Identify charging, chargemaster coding, or clinical documentation issues and work with appropriate leadership and ancillary departments to resolve issues that are identified while working on edits.</li><li>
Serve as charge master liaison to facilitate clinical department education on appropriate charging of CPT codes, Revenue Codes, and communicating with Ancillary Departments to resolve issues. Coordinates updates (activate, inactivate, modification) with Ancillary Departments as necessary</li><li>
Review Regulatory and Compliance Communications, applicable CMS transmittals, and Local Coverage Decisions (LCD). Assess impact to Billing Integrity procedures and implement changes as needed.</li><li>
Maintain billing education, attend webcasts and conference calls as required.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Associate Degree or above; or healthcare license/certification required.</li><li>
Minimum 1 year directly related Healthcare experience or coding experience required.</li><li>
Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS codes or experience in charging or performing charging validation reviews preferred.</li><li>
Healthcare certification/licensure such as RHIT, CCS, CCP,CPC or other recognized AHIMA certified coding credential, LPN, LVN, RT, PT, etc., can be accepted lieu of degree with work experience.</li></ul>

The Accounting Manager is responsible for having detailed knowledge of the financial and accounting systems. The Accounting Manager is responsible for the supervision of the Staff Accountant&rsquo;s performance of facility clearing account reconciliations as well as performing PSC accounting functions including reporting of PSC operations and support of allocations to the hospitals. The Accounting Manager will assist the CFO, Assistant CFO, and Controller in developing/compiling/analyzing statistical data, identifying trends, formulating conclusions and preparing complete and accurate financial and statistical reports.
In this role, you will:
<ul><li>Assist with the selection and training of department personnel
</li><li>Coordination of the resolution of outstanding items with the managers/supervisors of other PSC departments</li><li>
Assist in the preparation of the annual budget (if applicable)
</li><li>Assist with the monthly PSC closing procedures
</li><li>Ensure that privileged and/or proprietary information is adequately safeguarded against disclosure</li></ul>
What qualifications you will need:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Business or related field required. Equivalent work experience may substitute education requirements.</li><li>
Minimum one to three years&rsquo; experience in related area (with two of these years being healthcare management experience).</li></ul>
