Join the team at Parameter Generation &amp; Control, where we build world-class laboratory solutions and climate-control systems.We are looking for a skilled TIG Welder to handle the setup, welding, and assembly of our specialized refrigeration and air control units. This isn't just high-volume production; it&rsquo;s about craftsmanship and precision with thin-wall stainless steel.What You&rsquo;ll Do<ul><li>Precision Welding: Master TIG welding on thin-wall stainless steel (primarily 22-16 gauge).</li><li>Fabrication: Cut, prepare, and finish stainless steel sheets and tubing to exact specifications.</li><li>Specialized Assembly: Perform silver-solder brazing and assemble fabricated components for mechanical refrigeration devices.</li><li>Technical Interpretation: Read and follow mechanical drawings and blueprints with high accuracy.</li><li>Quality Control: Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, dial indicators, rulers) to ensure every part meets our standards.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional TIG welding experience (Required).</li><li>Laser welding experience is a plus!</li><li>Technical Skills: Proficient in TIG welding and silver-solder brazing.</li><li>Blueprint Literacy: Ability to read and understand complex mechanical drawings.</li><li>Mathematical Proficiency: Strong basic math skills and experience with precision measuring devices.</li><li>Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. with mechanical assistance.</li><li>Education: High school diploma or GED.</li><li>Versatility: Willingness to operate a fork truck and assist in other production areas as needed.</li></ul>Why Join Us?<ul><li>Job Type: Full-time, In-person.</li><li>Location: Conveniently located in Black Mountain, NC.</li><li>Impact: Your work directly contributes to innovative testing technology used in laboratories worldwide.</li><li>Environment: Work with a dedicated, local team in a hands-on manufacturing setting.</li></ul>Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>TIG welding: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Black Mountain, NC 28711 (Preferred)</li></ul>Shift availability:<ul><li>Day Shift (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
