<b>Position Summary</b><br>
<br>
The Hub Happiness Nanny is a dedicated childcare professional who provides high-quality, individualized care through The Parent Hub&rsquo;s shared nanny model. This role supports multiple families across scheduled care blocks, with care taking place in a family&rsquo;s home and/or at a designated Parent Hub&ndash;supported service location.<br>
<br>
During each scheduled care block, the Hub Happiness Nanny provides one-to-one care for a single family at a time.<br>
<br>
This position requires flexibility, professionalism, and the ability to transition smoothly between families while maintaining consistent, high-quality care. Hub Happiness Nannies play an essential role in supporting children&rsquo;s development and helping families feel calm, organized, and supported.<br>
<br>
<b>Key Responsibilities</b><br>
<br>
<i>Childcare &amp; Daily Care</i>
</div><ul><li>Provide attentive, high-quality childcare to children from multiple families based on scheduled care blocks</li>
<li>Support children&rsquo;s daily routines, including meals, snacks, naps, play, hygiene, and transitions</li>
<li>Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment tailored to each child&rsquo;s age and developmental stage</li>
<li>Supervise children at all times to ensure health, safety, and well-being</li>
</ul>

<i>Shared Nanny Model &amp; Scheduling</i>
</div><ul><li>Work within The Parent Hub&rsquo;s shared nanny model, supporting multiple families with scheduled care assignments</li>
<li>Provide care in family homes and/or at Parent Hub&ndash;supported service locations as scheduled</li>
<li>Transition smoothly between families while maintaining consistency, professionalism, and care standards.</li>
<li>Follow scheduling, timekeeping, and care protocols coordinated by The Parent Hub</li>
</ul>

<i>Family Communication &amp; Relationship Building</i>
</div><ul><li>Build positive, respectful relationships with children and families</li>
<li>Communicate clearly with families regarding daily routines, activities, and updates</li>
<li>Maintain discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times</li>
</ul>
<div><br>
<i>Engagement &amp; Development</i>
</div><ul><li>Plan and engage children in age-appropriate activities that support learning, creativity, and social/emotional development</li>
<li>Encourage positive behavior, independence, and healthy emotional expression</li>
<li>Support children during transitions between activities, environments, or caregivers</li>
</ul>

<i>Light Household Support</i>
</div><ul><li>Provide light household support to help maintain a calm and functional family environment</li>
<li>Assist with laundry, including washing, folding, and putting away clothing as requested</li>
<li>Support basic kitchen tidying such as cleaning dishes, bottles, or food prep items</li>
<li>Help with light tidying of household spaces and family car spaces</li>
<li>Support daily family routines in ways that help families feel organized, supported, and cared for</li>
</ul>

<i>Pet Awareness &amp; Light Pet Care</i>
</div><ul><li>Comfortably work in family homes that may include pets such as dogs or cats</li>
<li>Provide light, routine pet care when requested as part of the family environment, which may include letting pets outside, walking, feeding, or general supervision</li>
<li>Ensure pets are managed safely and appropriately in relation to children during care hours</li>
</ul>

<b>Qualifications &amp; Experience</b><br>
</div><ul><li>Minimum of four (4) years of professional childcare experience (private nannying, licensed childcare settings, or comparable roles)</li>
<li>Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including children as young as 6 weeks old</li>
<li>Current Infant &amp; Child CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start date)</li>
<li>Clean driving record and reliable transportation to travel locally for in-home care assignments</li>
<li>Clear, professional communication skills, including comfort providing routine updates to families</li>
</ul>

Formal training or education in early childhood development, which may include:</div>
<ul><li>Coursework in Early Childhood Education or Child Development</li>
<li>Child Development Associate (CDA) or related credential</li>
<li>Equivalent professional experience</li>
</ul>
<div><br>
All Nannies must also successfully complete all Pennsylvania DHS-required background clearances, including:</div>
<ul><li>PA State Criminal History Clearance</li>
<li>PA Child Abuse History Clearance</li>
<li>FBI Fingerprinting</li>
</ul>
<div><br>
<i>Preferred additional qualifications</i><br>
<br>
While not required, the following experience is considered a strong asset:</div>
<ul><li>Experience supporting daily routines and developmental milestones, including feeding, sleep, potty training, and transitions</li>
<li>Familiarity with play-based or child-led care approaches, such as Montessori or similar philosophies</li>
<li>Experience caring for multiple children or supporting multiple families</li>
</ul>

Advanced education or certifications, such as:</div>
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field</li>
<li>Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) certification</li>
<li>Infant development or sleep training coursework</li>
</ul>

<b>Professional Representation &amp; Leadership Presence</b><br>

As a family-facing role, you are expected to:</div>
<ul><li>Maintain a clean, polished, and professional appearance</li>
<li>Practice good personal hygiene and present themselves with calm confidence and approachability</li>
<li>Dress in business casual or business professional attire, appropriate to daily operations and meetings</li>
<li>Represent The Parent Hub with professionalism, warmth, and integrity in all interactions</li>
