 Role Overview
 
 
 
 An established and growing organization in the construction and landscaping sector is seeking a
 
 Commercial Lead
 
 to drive strategic growth and strengthen its market position in Saudi Arabia. This role will focus on securing high-value projects, leading structured bid processes, overseeing robust estimation practices, and maximizing value from an established client base.
 
 
 The role requires a balance of
 
 strategic business development, commercial governance, and operational oversight
 
 within a mature organizational environment.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 Strategic Business Development
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Identify and secure new project opportunities within the KSA construction and landscaping sector, aligned with company growth strategy
 </li>
 <li>
 Leverage an established brand and track record to access large-scale and government-backed projects
 </li>
 <li>
 Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including developers, consultants, and government entities
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain a strong, diversified pipeline of opportunities across multiple project types
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Structured Bid Management &amp; Tendering
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead and manage the full tender lifecycle in line with company governance and approval frameworks
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee the preparation and submission of high-quality, compliant, and competitive bids
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate cross-functional inputs from technical, procurement, finance, and legal teams
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive bid strategy, including pricing positioning, risk assessment, and win themes
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Estimation &amp; Commercial Oversight
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Provide leadership and oversight to the estimation function, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment with company margins
 </li>
 <li>
 Review and challenge cost plans, assumptions, and pricing strategies
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure integration between estimation, procurement, and project delivery teams to protect profitability
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Client Relationship &amp; Account Growth
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Manage and grow relationships with existing and previous clients, ensuring repeat business and long-term partnerships
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify opportunities for framework agreements, call-off contracts, and project extensions
 </li>
 <li>
 Act as a senior commercial representative in client negotiations and key meetings
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Commercial Governance &amp; Risk Management
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Ensure all commercial activities align with company policies, procedures, and risk frameworks
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee contract reviews, negotiations, and compliance (including FIDIC where applicable)
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify, mitigate, and manage commercial and contractual risks across bids and projects
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Key Requirements
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 10&ndash;15 years of experience in commercial, business development, or bid leadership roles within construction or landscaping
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven experience within
 
 established organizations
 
 handling structured tendering and governance processes
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong track record of winning medium to large-scale projects in Saudi Arabia
 </li>
 <li>
 Deep understanding of estimation, tendering, and contract management practices
 </li>
 <li>
 Existing network within KSA (developers, consultants, government bodies)
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Preferred Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management
 </li>
 <li>
 MBA or relevant commercial qualification is advantageous
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of FIDIC and regional contracting standards
 </li>
 </ul>
