By emphasizing ONE Park, ONE mission, ONE team, the Member Services Representative completes financial transactions professionally and efficiently, listens to and addresses member inquiries, and ensures accuracy in member records. This role involves guiding members through the credit union's products and services, identifying opportunities to enhance their financial well-being, and maintaining compliance with internal procedures and guidelines.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Essential Functions &amp; Responsibilities:</b></div>
<ul><li>Receive and process member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments;; transfers amounts from member accounts as directed. Post transactions to member accounts and maintain member records. Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning services and directs members to appropriate department for specific information and service. Balance cash drawer and daily transactions according to credit union policies and guidelines. Follow the choreography established for the branch footprint.</li>
<li>Complete and maintain financial certification training as designated by the credit union. Uncover opportunities and advise members on financial health.</li>
<li>Perform a variety of miscellaneous tasks including ATM duties, completing logs and reports, typing, filing, computer input and answering the telephone.</li>

<div></div><div><b>Knowledge and Skills:</b></div>
<div><b>Experience</b>: One month to twelve months of similar or related experience.</div>
<div><b>Education:</b> A high school education of GED.</div>
<div><b>Interpersonal Skills:</b> Work normally involves contacts with persons beyond immediate associates generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors) requiring normal courtesy in providing assistance or information.</div>
<div><b>Other Skills:</b> Ten key calculator and computer keyboard by touch. Must be good with detail to deal with numbers and names.</div>

<div>By emphasizing ONE Park, ONE Mission, One Team, the Financial Relationship Advisor I is responsible for supporting both current and potential members with their credit union needs. This includes explaining services, setting up new accounts, resolving issues, and directing members to the appropriate team members when necessary. The role focuses on building lasting relationships with members, advocating for their lifelong financial needs, and helping them achieve financial wellness through personalized advice and solutions. The Financial Relationship Advisor also processes teller transactions, opens and closes accounts, assists with lending needs, and ensures compliance with credit union policies and procedures.</div>

<li>act as an advocate for members in the branch and on the phone.</li>

<li>develop and maintain strong member relationships through proactive follow up and actively identify members&rsquo; needs to recommend appropriate products, services, and solutions.</li>
<li>assist members with navigating and adopting existing and new digital technology.</li>
<li>establish and maintain strong, positive, and productive working relationships with internal and external members.</li>
<li>actively collaborate with partners in other lines of business to provide solutions to meet members&rsquo; financial needs and goals.</li>
<li>maintain knowledge of current Credit Union financial products and services; utilize the knowledge to advise and recommend Credit Union products and services to meet member&rsquo;s financial needs.</li>
<li>process teller transactions and open and close accounts, including general membership, custodial, etc.</li>
<li>perform account maintenance, maintain and update records.</li>
<li>assist the member with their lending needs, to include educating and recommending lending products/services, submitting consumer loan applications, collecting documentation, closing loans, and performing loan maintenance.</li>
<li>focus on accuracy in all areas, ensuring errors/corrections are minimal.</li>
<li>maintain knowledge of and demonstrate adherence to all credit union policies, procedures, and regulations.</li>
<li>keep manager informed of any issues that may arise.</li>
<li>while acting as a liaison between members and departments, work to resolve problems within your authority. Escalate issues beyond your authority while keeping management informed on key issues.</li>
<li>achieve individual goals and contribute to branch and organizational objectives.</li>

Demonstrated ability to problem solve and be a critical thinker that is solution-focused. Previous cash-handling experience in a financial institution is preferred. Computer proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Internet, and Email; tech savvy with strong keyboard and computer skills.<br>
