Overview [BACHELOR'S DEGREE REQUIRED. IN PERSON FULL TIME POSITION]We are a small New Jersey firm seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Paralegal to join our dynamic law office. This role is ideal for individuals with a completed Bachelor's degree(s) looking to start their career in the legal field, particularly in Personal Injury Law. Note, this is an in-person position. The successful candidate will support attorneys by performing various administrative tasks and assisting with legal research, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service. Spanish and/or Portuguese speakers HIGHLY encouraged to apply!Duties<ul><li>Manage phone communications with clients, courts, and other legal professionals, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.</li><li>Assist attorneys with case preparation and litigation processes.</li><li>Draft correspondences.</li><li>Maintain organized case files and documentation for easy retrieval.</li><li>Conduct client interviews to gather necessary information for cases.</li><li>Perform general administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and maintaining office supplies.</li><li>Request and analyze medical bills and records.</li><li>Handling different types of insurance claims regarding automobile accidents and health insurance.</li><li>Monitoring both inbound and outbound email correspondence.</li><li>Ability to efficiently and effectively communicate in a timely manner with other legal assistants, paralegals, and attorneys.</li><li>Handle miscellaneous tasks per attorney request.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Completed Bachelor's Degree required (latest completion date December 2025)</li><li>A strong interest in pursuing a career in law with a focus on Personal Injury Law.</li><li>Paralegal Certification (Highly encouraged)</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Suites.</li><li>Excellent proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in all documents.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.</li><li>Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.</li><li>Previous experience in an administrative role is beneficial but not mandatory.</li><li>Spanish/Portuguese (major plus)</li></ul>Work Location: In personJob Type: Full-timePay: Starting from $19 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Free parking</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>8 hour shift</li><li>Monday to Friday</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In personPay: From $19.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
