Financial Administrative Assistant Parkinson&rsquo;s Association of San Diego (PASD) Location: San Diego County, CA Position Type: Part Time (16 hours/week)About Parkinson&rsquo;s Association of San Diego:PASD&rsquo;s mission is to enable those in San Diego County impacted by Parkinson&rsquo;s to live their best lives through support, resources, and education. PASD empowers individuals and families impacted by Parkinson&rsquo;s disease through a wide range of evidence-based, community-driven programs that improve quality of life, health outcomes, and access to support across San Diego County.Overview:This position will work independently under the direction of the Executive Director and will record all financial transactions. Will assist with budget development and assure compliance with all financial policies and procedures, regulatory requirements and board directives.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assist Executive Director and Board Treasurer in budgeting and financial reporting</li><li>Maintain accurate digital financial records and process accounts payable/receivable in a timely manner Monitor and reconcile bank statements and financial accounts regularly</li><li>Process and manage biweekly payroll accurately and in compliance with regulations</li><li>Support grant management by tracking funding and compliance requirements</li><li>Assist with fundraising efforts in an administrative capacity by maintaining accurate donor databases</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>1+ years of experience as financial administrative assistant</li><li>Prefer Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in finance, business administration or related field</li><li>Working knowledge of accounting software</li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Google Suite</li><li>Meticulous attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with accuracy and efficiency</li><li>Good organizational and time management skills</li><li>Strong team player with good communication skills</li><li>High levels of integrity and ability to handle confidential information</li><li>Experience with non-profit organization is an asset</li><li>Experience working with individuals with a disability is an asset</li></ul>Compensation:<ul><li>$30/hour (16 hours per week)</li></ul>Pay: $25.53 - $30.00 per hourWork Location: Hybrid remote in San Diego, CA 92123
