Job title: Cabinets Contractor Sales 
Salary: $58,522 - $74,483 depending on experience 
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am - 5pm 
Location: Salem, OR 
 
The Cabinet Contractor Salesperson&rsquo;s main duty is to take care of both in person and over the phone customers of Parr Cabinets. The Cabinet Contractor Salesperson works closely with customers to create cabinet designs and assist the customer in finding the product that they need. This role is important to the Parr Cabinet Design Centers because the Contractor Salesperson is crucial to providing Legendary Service to customers. 
 
The Outside Salesperson directly reports to the Manager. They interact regularly with our clients, Yard Managers, Install team, Cabinet Sales Coordinators, Cabinet Inside Sales members, the Central Purchasing Department, vendor representatives, and industry associates.
Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>
Orders cabinet, appliance, countertops, and ancillary items from manufacturers</li><li>
Create purchase orders using detailed, accurate and effective processes</li><li>
Draw 20/20 layouts for customer approval and quoting purposes</li><li>
Arrange delivery of product, working to create customer friendly outcomes</li><li>
Work closely with PARR&rsquo;s installation group to ensure great customer outcomes</li><li>
Assist in meeting team sales and profit goals</li><li>
Check vendor acknowledgements to validate accuracy</li><li>
Make all customers feel genuinely welcome, including greeting customers with a smile and communicating with customers in a friendly manner</li><li>
Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers and business associates</li><li>
Quickly respond to customer complaints and concerns</li><li>
Answer customers&rsquo; questions, process estimates and orders for customer&rsquo;s, order stock, special order products for customers, and process credit returns, handle appliance repairs and replacements when necessary</li><li>
Assist Cabinet/Appliance Contractor Sales people in maintaining customer relationships</li><li>
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cabinets&rsquo; brands, appliances and selling techniques. Share such information with co-workers</li><li>
Ensures that appropriate paperwork is completed as per company policy</li><li>
Follows all AR account and cash handling procedures</li><li>
Reads blue prints and creates take offs</li><li>
Answers phone promptly with professional greeting</li><li>
Completes POs on time, confirms confirmation and tied to order</li><li>
Responds to emails and voicemails promptly</li><li>
Perform other related duties as assigned</li></ul>
Qualifications<ul><li>
High School Diploma or GED required</li><li>
College degree preferred</li><li>
Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or in the building materials industry preferred</li><li>
Experience working with cabinet and appliances</li><li>
Knowledge of retail and contractor sales principles practices and protocols</li><li>
Experience in balancing a company&rsquo;s best interests against customer needs, and working with aggressive sales goals</li><li>
Must be able to type 40+ WPM</li><li>
Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook</li><li>
Proficiency in 2020 Design Software</li><li>
Must be able to operate personal computer, telephone, scanner, and any other equipment necessary for the job</li><li>
Class C driver&rsquo;s license and must have and maintain a good driving record required</li><li>
Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or in the building materials industry preferred</li><li>
Ability to speak, write, and read English required</li></ul>

Working Conditions
This position works out of Parr&rsquo;s Cabinet Design Center. This is an office/warehouse setting, with occasional visits to a job site, vendor locations and manufacturing tours.

Job title: Load Checker 
 
Pay: $19.97 - $24.23 
 
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm 
 
Location: Pasco, Washington 
 
The Load Checker safely and efficiently performs the &ldquo;checking of loads&rdquo; for all orders, including both deliveries and large will call orders. Seeks out 100% accuracy of properly tagged orders that have the correct type and size of material, quantity of products, proper sequence of materials in load, (i.e. pressure treated on top, not bottom of underfloor load, sheeting on bottom, not top of framing load), along with goods being sellable and damage free.
 
This position is essential in larger yards to help ensure that all loads are &ldquo;on time and in full.&rdquo; To find errors of any kind while the trucks are in the yard saves countless hours of fixing problems and plays a large role in fulfilling PARR&rsquo;s mission of Legendary Service Through Teamwork.
 
 
This position reports directly to the General Manager and interacts daily with Load Builders, Receiving Coordinators, Location Supervisor, Customer Service Employees, and Drivers.
Qualifications<ul><li>
OSHA Certified Forklift license (training provided)</li><li>
Minimum of 1 year of load building experience preferred</li><li>
Ability to speak, write, and read English required</li><li>
Knowledge of how loads need to be properly labeled, protected, and kept damage free</li><li>
Ability to tally correct lineal footage totals on orders</li><li>
Ability to read and interpret &quot;picking tickets&quot; and invoices</li><li>
Ability to load and unload materials in a safe manner</li><li>
Must be able to operate forklift, banding machine, tin snips, tape measure, power saws, hand truck, pallet jack, re-fueling stations, and all other equipment necessary for the job</li><li>
Ability to utilize all appropriate safety gear required for this position</li><li>
Must be able to operate personal computer, smartphone, scanner, and all other equipment necessary for the job</li><li>
Two years of load building and/or yard/warehouse experience preferred</li><li>
Two years of experience working with dimensional lumber, panel products, and other building materials preferred</li><li>
Knowledge of receiving and inventory control principles, practices, and protocols preferred</li><li>
Ability to read grades of lumber and other materials preferred</li><li>
Acceptable driving record preferred</li></ul>

Ensure loads are built safely and accurately by correctly reading &quot;pick tickets&quot; and invoices</li><li>
Help identify damaged material</li><li>
Ensure that appropriate paper work is complete &amp; scanned as per company policy</li><li>
Maintain yard cleanliness during course of work</li><li>
When mistakes are made, follow through with team to make system corrections as needed</li><li>
Perform daily safety audit of forklift and promptly reports any malfunctioning equipment</li><li>
Assist with prevention of material damage</li><li>
Identify areas of opportunity for best practices pertaining to handling of products, along with packaging for adverse weather conditions</li><li>
Perform other related duties as assigned</li></ul>
