Job Summary:We are seeking a seasoned and proactive General Manager (Legal &amp; Liaising) to lead our legal and regulatory functions. The role involves managing legal documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance, liaising with government authorities, and offering strategic legal counsel. You will play a critical role in ensuring seamless project approvals and legal risk mitigation across all company operations.Key Responsibilities:1. Legal Documentation &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Draft and review agreements (sale, JDA, partnership).</li><li>Ensure compliance with RERA and other statutory registrations.</li><li>Handle title verification, due diligence, and land acquisition processes.</li><li>Collaborate with external counsel on litigation and legal matters.</li></ul>2. Government Liaising &amp; Approvals<ul><li>Coordinate with government bodies for project-related approvals (building, fire safety, environmental).</li><li>Liaise with municipal corporations and statutory authorities.</li><li>Ensure timely submission and follow-up on required documentation.</li></ul>3. Regulatory Affairs Management<ul><li>Track legal/regulatory changes affecting real estate and construction.</li><li>Ensure company-wide compliance with labor, environmental, and construction laws.</li><li>Maintain strong relations with regulatory consultants and advisors.</li><li>Prepare compliance documentation and periodic reports.</li></ul>4. Risk Management &amp; Mitigation<ul><li>Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with projects.</li><li>Handle dispute resolution, arbitration, and settlements.</li><li>Implement a legal risk assessment framework and SOPs.</li></ul>5. Team Management &amp; Development<ul><li>Lead legal and liaison teams, ensuring timely and accurate outputs.</li><li>Conduct training on compliance and regulatory updates.</li><li>Build relationships with external legal firms and government agents.</li></ul>6.
