As the company continues to grow, including the development of our hospitality-focused division, we are strengthening our purchasing team to support expansion, margin optimization, and supplier excellence.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Purchaser / Buyer to manage and develop a portfolio of international suppliers. This role sits between a Buyer and a Senior Buyer, combining operational autonomy with strategic contribution.The ideal candidate is comfortable negotiating directly with suppliers, managing purchasing cycles end-to-end, and collaborating closely with finance, logistics, and sales teams to support growth and profitability.Key ResponsibilitiesPurchasing &amp; Supplier Management<ul><li>Manage a portfolio of domestic and international suppliers</li><li>Negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, payment terms, and exclusivity where applicable</li><li>Maintain strong, long-term supplier relationships</li><li>Participate in supplier onboarding and product assortment decisions</li></ul>Operational Execution<ul><li>Create, manage, and track purchase orders</li><li>Ensure accurate confirmations, ETAs, and delivery follow-up</li><li>Coordinate with logistics partners on shipping, lead times, and constraints</li><li>Resolve discrepancies related to pricing, quantities, or deliveries</li></ul>Inventory &amp; Financial Management<ul><li>Forecast demand and manage inventory levels</li><li>Optimize stock rotation and cash flow</li><li>Analyze cost structures, landed costs, and margins</li><li>Work closely with finance on payments, FX exposure, and cost control</li></ul>Strategic Contribution<ul><li>Support category and assortment strategy</li><li>Identify cost-saving opportunities and margin improvements</li><li>Provide market and supplier insights to leadership</li><li>Participate in trade shows and supplier meetings when needed</li></ul>Profile &amp; Qualifications<ul><li>3&ndash;6 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or buying</li><li>Experience with international suppliers (Europe preferred)</li><li>Strong negotiation and analytical skills</li><li>High level of autonomy and accountability</li><li>Excellent organizational and follow-up skills</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment</li><li>Strong Excel and ERP / inventory system proficiency</li><li>Fluent in English; French or Italian is a strong plus</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>A strategic role with real ownership and impact</li><li>Exposure to premium international brands and top-tier suppliers</li><li>Competitive salary aligned with experience</li><li>Growth potential within a fast-expanding company</li><li>Collaborative and entrepreneurial work environment</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $47,323.45 - $56,991.68 per yearExpected hours: No less than 25 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
