About the RoleGartsherrie Engineering is looking for a skilled Fabricator / Welder to join our busy workshop team. You will be involved in the fabrication and welding of a wide range of steel components and structures, working to engineering drawings and high-quality standards.This is a stable, long-term opportunity within a well-established engineering business that is part of a wider group operating across engineering, quarrying, and industrial services.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Fabrication and welding of steel components from technical drawings</li><li>MIG welding (TIG experience advantageous)</li><li>Cutting, grinding, drilling, and assembly work</li><li>Working to tight tolerances and quality requirements</li><li>Reading and interpreting engineering drawings</li><li>Carrying out quality checks on finished work</li><li>Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment</li><li>Supporting workshop productivity and continuous improvement</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>Proven experience in fabrication and welding</li><li>Ability to read engineering drawings confidently</li><li>MIG welding skills essential (TIG desirable)</li><li>Experience in structural or heavy fabrication preferred</li><li>Strong attention to detail and quality</li><li>Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious approach</li><li>Ability to work well independently and as part of a team</li></ul>What We Offer<ul><li>Competitive pay (based on experience)</li><li>Overtime opportunities available</li><li>Long-term, stable employment within an established engineering group</li><li>Varied and interesting engineering projects</li><li>Supportive and skilled workshop environment</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &pound;16.00-&pound;20.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>On-site parking</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>MIG welding: 2 years (required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
