Position Overview:The Social Media &amp; Website Coordinator is responsible for creating and managing digital content that elevates Pathlight HOME&rsquo;s mission and deepens community engagement. This role oversees the organization&rsquo;s social media presence and website to ensure accurate, inspiring, and mission-aligned communication. With a focus on storytelling, design, and data-driven strategy, the Coordinator will support our efforts to build awareness, grow support, and celebrate the successes of the people we serve.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Social Media Management<ul><li>Create, curate, and schedule mission-aligned content (posts, graphics, videos) across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more</li><li>Monitor social channels, respond to comments/messages, and grow an encouraging online presence</li><li>Support campaigns tied to fundraising, events, and storytelling initiatives</li><li>Analyze social media performance and suggest data-informed improvements</li><li>Stay current on trends and platform updates to keep our content fresh and relevant</li></ul>Website Management<ul><li>Maintain and update website content to ensure accuracy and accessibility</li><li>Create or edit pages to reflect current programs, events, and campaigns</li><li>Collaborate with external web vendors or IT support as needed</li><li>Track web performance metrics (Google Analytics, SEO, etc.) to improve user experience</li></ul>Additional Duties<ul><li>Collaborate with the Development team on donor engagement, event promotion, and community outreach</li><li>Assist with digital newsletters, presentations, and promotional materials</li><li>Contribute creative ideas to help tell our story with clarity and heart</li></ul>Education and Experience:<ul><li>1-2 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or nonprofit communications</li><li>Basic knowledge of HTML, SEO, or Google Analytics is a plus</li><li>Proficiency in Canva or Adobe tools preferred</li><li>Spanish language proficiency is a plus</li><li>Strong verbal, written and oral communication skills; excellent presentation and listening skills.</li><li>Ability to use Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), internet skills, social media and website programs and software.</li></ul>Physical Demands:Sitting or standing for extended periods of time, bending, occasional lifting of items weighing up to approximately 25 pounds, regularly moving throughout the building, traveling to outside meetings, regular use of standard office equipment such as the telephone, copier, fax, and computer. Reliable transportation and valid driver&rsquo;s license required.
