Founded in 1991, the company is located just west of Austin, Texas, with a modern 60,000-square-foot fabrication facility. About the Role:
As a Fitter/Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in our operations, assembling and fitting structural, plate, and mechanical materials into various assemblies. You&rsquo;ll work closely with the Shop Superintendent and other team members to ensure high-quality production.<h4 class="jobSectionHeader">
Key Responsibilities:</h4><ul><li>
Assemble and Fit: Work with structural forms like frames, bridge parts, beams, and columns.</li><li>
Blueprint Mastery: Read and interpret blueprints to plan fitting operations.</li><li>
Precision Work: Use your fitter skills to layout and fit detail parts accurately.</li><li>
Quality Assurance: Verify the accuracy of fit-ups before inspection.</li></ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader">
What We&rsquo;re Looking For:</h4><ul><li>
Experience: Extensive experience in fitting and fabricating is essential.</li><li>
Education: High school diploma or GED, plus 12 months of training or equivalent experience.</li><li>
Skills: Proficiency in reading shop drawings, high motivation, and the ability to work independently.</li><li>
Certifications: Current welding and OSHA certifications are required.</li></ul>
