Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support our sales and client service teams within the individual health and Medicare space. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate application processing, client communication, and policy administration. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment supporting both internal teams and external partners.
Work Arrangement: This is a full-time remote position reporting to our office located in Palos, Verdes, CA.
Professional Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Process and manage individual health, Medicare, and life insurance applications, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission.</li>
<li>Serve as a point of contact for clients, external agents, and carriers, providing updates, resolving issues, and verifying coverage details.</li>
<li>Track application status, confirm policy approvals, and ensure correct effective dates and plan enrollments.</li>
<li>Support billing and policy administration, including premium notifications, renewals, terminations, and database updates.</li>
<li>Assist with claims processing and follow up on billing or coverage-related inquiries.</li>
<li>Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to address product, enrollment, and service-related questions.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all daily tasks and service requests are completed within established timelines.</li>
<li>Gather and organize sales materials and resources for Medicare and individual health products.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications and Requirements:
<ul><li>1+ years of experience in a customer service or administrative support role.</li>
<li>High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.</li>
<li>Knowledge of health insurance products, including Medicare and Individual &amp; Family Plans (IFP), preferred.</li>
<li>Familiarity with insurance claims processing and life insurance administration preferred.</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage data accurately and maintain organized records.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to changing demands, and work effectively in a team environment.</li>

Pay Range: $28.84 - $36.05 per hour depending on experience.
