Job Summary</h1>
The Warehouse Associate strives to exceed customer expectations by ensuring orders are available, accurate, salable and received in a timely manner. This position will demonstrate order fulfillment task goals are conducted accurately, efficiently and safely, while surpassing customer expectations.<h1 class="jobSectionHeader">

Order Filling
</h2><ul><li>Picks product from fulfillment center stock according to wave pick list and organizes on cart;</li><li>
Pulls warehouse items from the shelves based on number, size, color, quantity, and quality requirements</li><li>
May operate scanners so that the proper order is picked, and inventory is managed accurately</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Order Checking</h2><ul><li>
Verifies that the item picked matches the item on the invoice by comparing manufacturer name, manufacturer item number, and item description;</li><li>
Verifies quantity of items picked matches item quantity on the invoice;</li><li>
For time sensitive items, verifies the expiration date on the item is acceptable for shipment to the customer;</li><li>
Verifies all items listed on the invoice have been picked;</li><li>
For items that include component(s), such as a pump, verifies that components are included</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Packing</h2><ul><li>
Counts quantity of items and verifies the count to the quantity listed on the invoice;</li><li>
Matches the ship to address or invoice number on the shipping label with the same information on the invoice;</li><li>
Selects correct packaging, fill and labels;</li><li>
Follows regulatory guidelines when packing items with regulatory classification;</li><li>
May create proper shipping papers for packages containing hazardous materials;</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Manifests</h2><ul><li>
For packages not auto-manifested: weighs packages, determines appropriate method of transportation, verifies proper labeling, scans information and applies shipping labels;</li><li>
For packages auto-manifested: verifies and corrects non-conforming packages;</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Expeditor</h2><ul><li>
Processes orders requiring special handling as required by branch personnel, sales staff or end-user.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Order Processing
</h2><ul><li>Fulfill current or new client orders to achieve client customer satisfaction</li></ul><h1 class="jobSectionHeader">

Project Management:<ul><li>
Prepares project schedule and monitors the progression of new/remodeled facility projects to ensure on-time completion and accuracy.</li><li>
Evaluates project plans and blueprints, coordinates with designers and sub/contractors to inspect work, and makes suggestions for modification when necessary.</li></ul>
Customer Relations:
<ul><li>Provides post sale support to customers.</li><li>
Demonstrate proper use of products or equipment. Responds to customer queries, answers questions and solves problems in a timely fashion.</li><li>
Holds client relationship meetings to monitor satisfaction levels with Patterson&rsquo;s service and support and illustrates all of the value-added services provided.</li><li>
Consult with customers in choosing real estate agents, general contractors and other service providers based on customer needs.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Job Qualifications</h2>
What background and experience is needed as an Equipment Specialist?<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in any related field and 3 to 5 years' of business to business outside sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.</li><li>
A strong initiative with exceptional customer service, planning and organization skills.</li><li>
Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present and negotiate are required.</li><li>
Previous success attaining and exceeding sales goals is a plus.</li><li>
General computer proficiency including knowledge of MS Office is required.</li><li>
You must also possess a valid driver's license.</li><li>
3+ years of dental industry experience preferred.</li></ul>
