Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of general litigation. This role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. The Paralegal will provide essential support to attorneys by assisting with case management, drafting legal documents, and conducting thorough research.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings by organizing case files and evidence.</li><li>Conduct legal research using tools such as LexisNexis to support case preparation.</li><li>Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and correspondence with attention to detail.</li><li>Manage case files using CLIO.</li><li>Review and summarize documents for relevance and accuracy in litigation matters.</li><li>Maintain organized records of all case-related documentation through effective filing systems.</li><li>Interview clients and witnesses for discovery.</li><li>Provide executive administrative support including scheduling appointments and managing attorney calendars.</li><li>Collaborate with attorneys on project management tasks related to ongoing cases.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven paralegal experience in a law office environment is required; familiarity with personal injury law and insurance defense is a plus.</li><li>Strong writing skills with experience in legal drafting and proofreading documents for clarity and accuracy.</li><li>Familiarity with litigation processes and procedures is highly desirable.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; strong phone etiquette is required.</li><li>Experience in clerical tasks such as filing and general administrative duties is preferred.
