The ideal candidate for the Construction Manager position will manage, oversee and coordinate all facets of the construction activities related to buildings, new and rehabilitation of capital improvement projects.Position Description:Manage construction activities to meet the requirements of the project scope, budget and schedule.Plans, organizes, directs and reports construction management activities and progress to management and/or ownerResolves complex construction project related issues, disputes, and disagreementsReview and respond to Submittals and Requests for InformationCoordinates with public agencies during construction to comply with project requirementsPerforms day-to-day contract administration including assisting the Senior Project Managers in bid analysis, pre-construction meetings and related award coordinating activitiesReviews contractors&rsquo; construction schedule, submittals, correspondence, claims, and respond to contractor inquiries. Prepare narrative of findings, submit and present to management for decision makingEvaluate contract change orders and amendments for impact on budget and schedule.Conduct construction/project site visits.Provide daily work reports, weekly and monthly reports required by client.Conduct preconstruction meeting, progress meetings and any additional meetings necessary for the project and develop meeting minutes and agendas.We are seeking a Construction Manager to join our team!
