Paw Pals is Hiring: Dog Walker &amp; Pet Sitter (Madison, WI)Paw Pals is seeking an enthusiastic and dependable dog walker and pet sitter to join our team in Madison and surrounding areas.In this role, you&rsquo;ll care for our clients&rsquo; pets in their homes, including dog walks, cat sitting, and general pet care. As you build a consistent route, hours typically become more stable.All Weather WorkWe care for pets year-round in all types of weather, including rain, snow, and heat.Travel Between VisitsYou&rsquo;ll be driving between client homes throughout your shift, so reliable transportation is required.What We Ask You To Do<ul><li>Provide attentive, reliable care for dogs, cats, and other pets</li><li>Follow detailed care instructions (walking routines, feeding, medications, etc.)</li><li>Walk dogs and ensure proper exercise and enrichment</li><li>Clean up after pets and maintain tidy spaces</li><li>Send visit updates with notes and photos through our app</li><li>Communicate with our team regarding any concerns or updates</li></ul>Basic Requirements<ul><li>18 years of age or older</li><li>Comfortable handling pets of all sizes and temperaments</li><li>Able to work in all types of weather</li><li>Reliable transportation and valid driver&rsquo;s license</li><li>Smartphone required (for scheduling and visit updates)</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions</li><li>Good communication and customer service skills</li><li>Able to pass a background check</li><li>Commitment to the role for at least 6 months</li><li>Team-oriented and dependable</li></ul>Availability<ul><li>At least 2 weekdays available between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM (prime dog walking hours)</li><li>AND/OR availability for evenings and weekends for pet sitting visits</li></ul>We are especially looking for team members who want consistent weekday dog walking hours, with the option to pick up additional visits outside of those times.Compensation &amp; Perks<ul><li>Hourly pay starting at $16/hour during training</li><li>Plus tips after training, 100% of tips go directly to you</li><li>Opportunities for pay increases based on performance and experience</li><li>Flexible scheduling based on your availability</li><li>Paid exercise and time outdoors</li><li>Support from our team while in the field</li><li>Liability insurance and workers&rsquo; compensation coverage</li></ul>How to ApplyIf you are dependable, love animals, and take pride in providing great care, we&rsquo;d love to hear from you.Send us a message, tell us a bit about your experience and why you would be a great fit for Paw Pals, tell us when you can work, what pets you are able to work with and any other details you can provide.Job Type: Part-timePay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li></ul>Compensation Package:<ul><li>Tips</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Do you have any pet care relevant experience?</li><li>Are you free during our dog walking hours? 10-2pm mainly.
