Paws Around Motown

Established in 2014, Paws Around Motown offers mobile pet services designed to fit into busy lifestyles. They provide dog walking, pet sitting, dog training (both in-person and online), pet taxis, and yard clean-ups. The company also operates a dog training facility in Clawson, MI. Their mission is to deliver a safe and quality pet care experience through compassion and respect, catering to the individual needs of each pet.

 I started Paws Around Motown in 2014 &mdash; just me, my leash, and a handful of clients who trusted me with their dogs. Twelve years later there's a whole team, and the standard hasn't changed: we never rush a visit, and we treat every pet and home better than our own. Dog Walker/Pet Sitter

<div>Paws Around Motown is looking for an experienced Dog Walker and Adventurer. He/she will visit the homes of clients to take dogs out for exercise and, on occasion, provide their meals as needed. He/she will also take dogs in their vehicles to go on adventures and excursions.
The ideal person for this position understands the safety and priority of the animals in their care. He/she should be an independent and reliable self-starter with lots of energy and a passion for dogs.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Exercise &ndash; Walk, run, or jog the clients&rsquo; dogs to provide daily exercise. If requested, bring the dog to a park for social interaction or on a trail hike.</li><li>
Other services &ndash; Pick up after the animals during the walk. Check the dogs&rsquo; food and water supply, and if needed, provide food and water to the animal after the daily walk. Communicate with the animals&rsquo; owners, (as required) and be aware of any medical needs observed during your run or walk.</li></ul>
Requirements:<ul><li>
Prior experience working with dogs is preferred</li><li>
Compassion, patience, and reliability</li><li>
The ability to walk, run, pull, push, bend or reach</li><li>
The ability to lift up to 30 pounds</li><li>
Capable of handling all sizes of canines from small to large</li></ul>
