Job Summary:
We&rsquo;re looking for strong subject matter expertise in Accounts Payable and accounts reconciliations proven experience in Automation, Process Improvement, and ERP transformation (preferably SAP S/4HANA). 
This role will drive change and help design and implement best-in-class AP reconciliation processes while ensuring quality, accuracy, compliance, and seamless reporting.
 
 
Your Impact 
As an Accounts Payable Sr Analyst at PayPal, you&rsquo;ll play a key role in enhancing the quality of reconciliations with detailed narratives, balance sheet review and variance analysis. Maintain strategic vendor relationships, and stringent controls to ensure accurate financial reporting &amp; no cash leakage. 
This role demands in depth AP Domain &amp; account reconciliation expertise, MIS reporting, analytical skills, and situational leadership experience to strengthen PayPal&rsquo;s financial function.

Essential Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Initiate accounting processes to ensure financial statements meet local GAAP</li><li>
Monitor the accounting closing process and post journal entries for any required adjustments in the local ledger</li><li>
Support the organization in meeting local and global regulatory obligations</li><li>
Drive process control rigor to support quarterly certification on financials</li><li>
Implement monthly financial reports and analytics to support structured risk-based monthly financial reviews</li><li>
Implement statutory financial statements and ensure timely completion of statutory audits</li><li>
Facilitate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting close activities</li><li>
Review and prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, roll-forwards, and month-end reporting packages</li></ul>

</li><li>Ensure proper reporting under U.S. GAAP, including application of internal policies and SOX controls.</li><li>Lead all audits for Accounts payable and collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing documentation and insights as needed</li><li>Support special projects or system implementation initiatives within PayPal</li><li>10+ years of experience, with 5+ years in Accounts Payable &amp; account reconciliations</li></ul>
