Overview:

The Sales Representative sells Paychex solutions and support within current client base as well as new to clients. Helping small business owners succeed while increasing the Paychex footprint in the marketplace.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Self-generate leads and prospect existing clients via phone and email to schedule quality meetings daily using targeted lists</li><li>
Review client data using Paychex sales tools to prepare for discovery meetings, uncover client needs, and propose Paychex solutions, referring to partners as needed.</li><li>
Create proposals from meeting insights, follow up with clients to discuss solutions and pricing, and secure their decision.</li><li>
Meet with clients to review agreements, and negotiate as necessary to close sales</li><li>

Meet with manager weekly for 1:1 to review current performance , review sales calls and meetings, receive coaching and strategize to close open pipeline.</li><li>

Compensation: In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $83,400-$131,000 annually. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. Responsible for consulting with clients on human resource matters, best practices, employee handbook options and responding to and identifying compliance concerns that pertain to state and federal employment law questions.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Advises clients regarding human resources matters, best practices, and employee handbook options.</li><li>
Identifies and clearly responds to client human resources and employment law inquiries/concerns utilizing appropriate resources.</li><li>
Builds strong client relationships and provides high quality service in an effort to maintain high client satisfaction and retention.</li><li>
Maintains knowledge of trends and changes in employment law legislation and conveys state and federal labor laws to internal partners and clients to maintain compliance.</li><li>
Offers innovative solutions or overcomes objections when resolving problems.</li><li>
Proactively and reactively follows up with clients as necessary regarding any HR or employment law topic.</li><li>
Supports client handbook creation and changes by partnering with client to gather relevant information.</li><li>
Fields inbound and makes outbound calls in order to support clients with available products and services.</li><li>
Evaluates and responds to inquiries regarding client billing and account information.</li><li>
Participates in special projects as assigned.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<div><ul><li>Associate's Degree - Preferred</li><li>
1 year of experience in Client Service, Human Resources, HR Education, or combination of all.</li></ul></div>
