Role: Test Automation Engineer

Contract: Contingent Upon Award &ndash; U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT)

Location: Remote work performed in the U.S.; (Occasional travel to DOT HQ &ndash; Washington, DC, Navy Yard)

Clearance: Ability to obtain Public Trust (existing transferable Public Trust preferred)

Overview:

PBG is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for a Salesforce grants management system supporting DOT.

Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Develop automated regression suites using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Provar, Katalon, or equivalent frameworks.</li>
<li>Create, maintain, and execute automated test cases for UI, API, integration, and end-to-end workflows.</li>
<li>Develop reusable test frameworks, libraries, and utilities to support scalable test automation.</li>
<li>Validate Salesforce Flows, Apex logic, integrations, and user interface components through automated testing.</li>
<li>Maintain test datasets, test scripts, and test environment configuration records.</li>
<li>Execute API testing using tools like Postman, ReadyAPI, or custom scripts.</li>
<li>Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).</li>
<li>Log, track, and retest defects; collaborate with developers to ensure resolution aligns with acceptance criteria.</li>
<li>Analyze results, track quality metrics, and prepare test execution reports for stakeholders.</li>
<li>Participate in sprint planning, story refinement, and definition of done (DoD) discussions.</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>BA/BS degree in IT, CS, Engineering, or related field.</li>
<li>3+ years of automated testing experience.</li>
<li>Experience with automation frameworks and API testing.</li>
<li>Ability to obtain Public Trust (transferable clearance preferred).</li></ul><div>

Overview:

PBG is seeking a Junior Salesforce Developer to assist senior developers in configuring and enhancing Salesforce components within a federal grants management environment.

Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Support development of Apex Classes, Triggers, and Lightning Web Components under senior guidance.</li>
<li>Assist in building Flows, validation rules, page layouts, dynamic forms, and user interface components.</li>
<li>Participate in requirements grooming and translate functional needs into basic technical tasks.</li>
<li>Execute unit tests, support test case execution, and resolve lower-level defects.</li>
<li>Document configurations, code changes, test results, and technical workflows.</li>
<li>Assist with data imports, updates, and mapping exercises using Data Loader or Workbench.</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with senior developers, BAs, testers, and QA teams to ensure accurate delivery.</li>
<li>Shadow code reviews and learn PBG and DOT coding standards, security controls, and best practices.</li>
<li>Participate in Agile ceremonies and support end-of-sprint demonstrations.</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>BA/BS degree in IT, Business, CS, or related field.</li>
<li>Up to 3 years of Salesforce development/configuration experience.</li>
<li>Basic understanding of Apex, LWC, Flows, and Salesforce data structures.</li>
<li>Ability to obtain Public Trust (transferable clearance preferred).</li></ul><div>
