<div>Regional Security Supervisor
Location: Tri State Region, NY, NJ, CT
About the Role
PBS Facility Service is seeking a Regional Security Supervisor to oversee security operations across multiple properties in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. This field-based role requires daily travel to conduct inspections, support officers, handle incidents, and maintain strong client relationships. The position ensures all officers follow PBS standards, meet licensing requirements, and provide a safe and professional security presence.
What You Will Do:
Operational Oversight<ul><li>
Conduct routine and unannounced site inspections.</li><li>
Ensure officers follow post orders, uniforms, access control, and PBS procedures.</li><li>
Confirm posts are properly staffed and adjust coverage as needed.</li><li>
Inspect radios, badges, CCTV, and access control tools.</li><li>
Document findings and corrective actions.</li></ul>
Leadership and Training<ul><li>
Supervise officers and site supervisors across multiple locations.</li><li>
Provide coaching, feedback, and on the job training.</li><li>
Conduct onboarding and review post orders with new officers.</li><li>
Respond to call offs and staffing gaps and provide coverage when needed.</li><li>
Support HR and Operations with performance or conduct issues.</li></ul>
Compliance and Quality<ul><li>
Ensure officers maintain active NY, NJ SORA, and CT credentials.</li><li>
Confirm post orders and emergency procedures are current and accessible.</li><li>
Audit logs, incident reports, and visitor activity for compliance.</li><li>
Reinforce customer service, communication, and appearance standards.</li></ul>
Incident Response and Reporting<ul><li>
Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies as the supervisory lead.</li><li>
Coordinate with building management and emergency services.</li><li>
Guide officers on scene control and accurate reporting.</li><li>
Review incident reports and escalate major concerns.</li><li>
Recommend improvements or additional training.</li></ul>
Client Relations<ul><li>
Serve as primary point of contact for on site managers.</li><li>
Address service issues and operational concerns promptly.</li><li>
Participate in client meetings, property walks, and reviews.</li><li>
Communicate PBS policies and updates to clients and staff.</li></ul>
Administrative Reporting<ul><li>
Submit inspections, training logs, incident reviews, and corrective actions.</li><li>
Support scheduling accuracy and payroll reconciliation.</li><li>
Provide data for KPIs and performance reviews.</li><li>
Maintain officer licensing and training records.</li></ul>
Travel and Availability<ul><li>
Travel daily across NY, NJ, and CT in all weather conditions.</li><li>
Respond to urgent issues during evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays.</li><li>
Perform occasional overnight travel if needed.</li></ul>
What It Takes to Be Successful:<ul><li>
High school diploma or GED.</li><li>
Three or more years of experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related field.</li><li>
One to three years of supervisory experience.</li><li>
Ability to obtain:</li><li>
NY Security Guard Registration</li><li>
NJ SORA License</li><li>
CT Security Officer Certification ID Card</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license with acceptable driving record.</li><li>
Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>
Ability to lead teams across multiple locations.</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>
Associate or Bachelor degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field.</li><li>
Experience managing multi-site or multi-state operations.</li><li>
Bilingual English and Spanish.</li><li>
Experience with CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and incident reporting</li></ul></div>
