About the Role (Including Team and Reporting)The operations coordinators will be placed at the kitchen sites and will be responsible for all tasks necessary for establishment and sustained operations of the kitchens leading to increase in revenue and profits while ensuring optimum production capacity, quality and adherence to protocols and compliances. The key responsibilities for the position are:Community Mobilization: Identify community institutions and women interested in food industry entrepreneurship, conduct cloud kitchen concept seeding, orientations and form enterprise groups of the interested candidates.Kitchen establishment: Engage with property dealers and owners Identify potential locations at competitive rentals. Identify vendors and handle procurement of kitchen equipment, utensils, mobile units etc. for setting up cloud kitchen&rsquo;s production centers, outlets and mobile units. Ensure kitchen layout, civil work and aesthetics as per project guidelines. Ensure kitchen readiness in terms of registration, bank accounts, municipal licenses etc. for launch within established timelines.Training and handholding: Conduct regular meetings, training and handholding of entrepreneurs on the aspects of accounting, inventory management, CRM usage, invoicing, purchasing, record keeping, food safety and hygiene, operational best practices, effective kitchen management etc.Day to day kitchen operation: &middot; Oversee the daily operations of the cloud kitchen, ensuring all processes run smoothly and efficiently.&middot; Orient and handhold entrepreneurs to manage inventory levels, order supplies, and coordinate deliveries to ensure the kitchen is always well-stocked.&middot; Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment. Implementing and maintaining rigorous standards for food quality, hygiene, and safety.&middot; Ensure adherence to the menu, recipes and pricing.&middot; Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize kitchen operations.&middot; Coordinate with delivery partners to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.&middot; Manage order processing, food preparation, and delivery logistics to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. Handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.&middot; Conduct cost analysis and revenue forecasting. Monitor expenses, track sales performance, and implement cost-saving measures to maximize profitability.Outlet operation:<ul><li>Maintaining cleanliness, ambiance, and decor to enhance the overall dining experience and encourage repeat visits.</li><li>Implement quality control measures to maintain food quality and consistency. PCI is providing technical assistance around integrations of Health &amp; Nutrition (HN), Gender and Women Economic Empowerment (WEE) and Decentralised Renewable Energy interventions with community platforms promoted by UPSRLM. UPSRLM has promoted a community based Decentralised Renewable Energy Company Prerna-OJAS. Prerna OJAS was the outcome of million soul initiative supported by Ministry of New &amp; Renewable Energy. After the Million Soul project got over Prerna-OJAS a private limited company is in the business of manufacturing and supply of Solar Based products and implements DRE initiatives with rural communities. PCI, India has collaborated with Prerna-OJAS for providing technical assistance for supporting Prerna-OJAS for improving its systems, business operations, management, marketing, branding, business development and design, development and implementation of DRE pilots for ushering green revolution in Uttar Pradesh. The technical support will enable Prerna-OJAS is creating 1 lakh Green Jobs for rural women leading to economic empowerment of Rural Women.Position Summary:The Consultant &ndash; Business Enterprise Development will play a key role in driving growth and expanding market presence for the Prerna OJAS company in the solar and renewable energy sector. This individual will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and creating tailored solutions that align with the company&rsquo;s objectives and sustainability goals. The incumbent will be required to formulate Business Plans, Proposals, Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), scout and identify opportunities for business development, will assess and improve product designs, packaging and branding. The role requires in-depth knowledge of renewable energy technologies, market trends, and DRE regulatory frameworks for Prerna OJAS. The incumbent will report to Program Manager-DEWEE and work in close supervision of CEO-Prerna OJAS. Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic Business Development<ul><li>Identify, evaluate, and pursue business opportunities in renewable energy, sustainability, and aligned sectors.</li><li>Develop business growth strategies and action plans to expand market presence for DRE service provider enterprises located at block-level across the state</li><li>Conduct market research to assess potential partners, funding opportunities, and industry trends.</li><li>Write compelling grant proposals, concept notes, EoIs and funding applications tailored to donor requirements.</li><li>Manage grant agreements, ensuring compliance with donor guidelines and timely reporting.</li></ul>2. Proposal and DPR Development<ul><li>Prepare detailed and persuasive project proposals to align with client and funder requirements.</li><li>Develop Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) outlining project objectives, financial models, technical plans, and implementation strategies.</li><li>Ensure proposals and DPRs are data-driven, compliant with regulatory requirements, and aligned with organizational goals.</li></ul>3. Capacity Building and Advocacy<ul><li>Train and mentor team members in credit access, market assessment, fulfilling DPR and ensuring quality submission</li><li>Advocate for the organization&rsquo;s goals in industry forums, policy discussions, exhibitions and other public platforms.</li><li>Recognise prospective clients in the region, creates a client database identifying their needs, initiates follow-up actions and prepares financial models and planning template for their growth.</li></ul>4.
