Primary Function:
Responsible, as per training administered, work related to equipment repairs and changeovers, preventive maintenance activities, corrective troubleshooting on machinery. Assists with equipment inspection, installations, and equipment system performance improvements. Performs all work in accordance to company policies, procedures and regulations contained in company GMP&rsquo;S, safety standards, SOP&rsquo;s and housekeeping standards ECT.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION: 
The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to: Responsible for minor mechanical/ electrical equipment repair and troubleshooting, process improvements, minor equipment changeovers, minor fabrication of machine parts on packaging machinery.
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
 Describe all machine controls and their functions.</li><li>
Identify all safety devices and emergency switches on all lines and equipment.</li><li>
 Verify understanding of all safety procedures.</li><li>
 Operate all equipment, where trained.</li><li>
 Describe the start-up, operation and shutdown procedures for each piece of equipment, where trained.</li><li>
 Select proper tools for machine adjustments.</li><li>
 Demonstrate required level of reading comprehension.</li><li>
 Prepare lines for daily production.</li><li>
 Verify components used on the line.</li><li>
 Operate and interface with on- line computers.</li><li>
 Perform minor changeovers.</li><li>
 Perform minor preventive maintenance tasks, where trained.</li><li>
Provide guidance and assistance to all line personnel.</li><li>
 Demonstrate leadership on the Line.</li><li>
 Maintains records and documentation as required.</li><li>
 Maintains work area, tools and equipment in a clean and safe order.</li><li>
 Exhibits flexibility acquired through training to be utilized at any position as needed in the company, or elsewhere in the facility, or as a trainer.</li><li>
Perform and Document all equipment Challenges that are list per MPI</li></ul>
Materials:
Machine parts and assemblies, pipe and fittings, lubricant, solutions, welding materials, electric/ electronic devices, changeover parts as per training administered.
Tools and Equipment:
Various hand and power tools, machine shop equipment, welding equipment, electrical testing equipment as per training administered.

Supervises:
Work independently with a minimum amount of supervision or direction or as part of a team or crew. Directs other personal as necessary in the course of their duties.
Education: 
 High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience or Equivalent:
Entrance-level position. Or at least 2- (2) years' equivalent experience as a packaging maintenance mechanic, mechanical maintenance mechanic or electrical maintenance mechanic.

Summary of Objective:
The Training Specialist will be responsible for improving the competencies of individual employees by designing and conducting training programs that will enhance employee workplace performance in alignment with company&rsquo;s core
values. This individual will be responsible for performing training needs assessments, designing and delivering curriculum and learning materials and for managing all phases of training interventions. This individual will also be responsible for interfacing with Operations and Human Resources in order to understand the training and developmental needs of the company from a cross-functional perspective, so that they can be proactively addressed through robust training initiatives that will produce short-term and long-term results. In short, the training specialist will be responsible for enhancing the individual and collective skills, performance, productivity, and quality of work produced.

Responsible for delivering technical, job specific, or soft skill training.
Translating organizational requirements into trainings that will enhance knowledge, proficiency, or personnel development.
Direct structured learning experiences and monitor their results.
Develop or oversee the production of classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids and manuals.
Design and expand training and development programs based on the needs of the organization and the individual.
Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees work behavior.
Assist with talent management, succession planning, and personnel development.
Research new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and continually incorporate these improvements into the developed training programs.
Coordinates or performs administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs.
Evaluates effectiveness of training and development programs and utilizes relevant evaluation data to revise or recommend changes in instructional objectives and methods.
Devise, track and update individual learning plans and the curriculum assigned to each functional department.
Establish cross-functional partnerships to ensure alignment and the standardization of processes from a learning and development perspective.
Advance and support any required compliance or professional development training delivery on site.
Understand e-learning techniques, and where appropriate, create and/or delivery e-learning packages, programs, or techniques.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will not have any direct reports.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or 3-5 years&rsquo; work experience in a regulated environment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Strong math skills (statistical)
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Strong troubleshooting and computer/software skills.
The hiring rate for this position is $68,480-$77,040 plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to specific and relevant experience, education, credentials, geography, and subject matter expertise. Position Title: Maintenance Mechanic 2<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div>
Location: Assembly, Rockford
Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday-Friday; 3:00pm -11:00pm)
The Maintenance Mechanic&rsquo;s duties include installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment while following all work practices and procedures. Mechanics will ensure and help maintain a safe work environment while supporting the internal customer to achieve the site's business goals and objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Support the packaging lines by making routine and non-routine adjustments that ensure a high-quality product.</li><li>
Collaborate with other departments and other Maintenance Mechanics to obtain information or experience to keep lines running at an efficient rate.</li><li>
Perform preventive maintenance, changeovers, repairs, and running adjustments.</li><li>
Systematically gather information from a variety of sources, analyze the information, identify implications of data, draw appropriate conclusions, generate viable, alternative solutions to a question or problem, and evaluate the consequences of choosing each alternative.</li><li>
Assert personal ideas and opinions to convince others. This includes gaining others' support through one's own actions, examples, or persuasion in an ethical manner.</li><li>
Define, diagnose, and resolve problems. This includes seeking, logically examining, and interpreting information from different sources to determine a problem's cause and developing a course of action to resolve the problem and to prevent its recurrence.</li><li>
Provide guidance to others by responding to questions; observing work activity; giving direction when necessary; and providing on-the-job training.</li><li>
Use a variety of hand tools and power tools to perform specific duties.</li><li>
Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situation to proper personal.</li><li>
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and services.</li><li>
May require overtime and/or weekend work.</li><li>
May require use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR).</li><li>
Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.</li><li>
Prompt escalation to supervisor of any safety issue, quality issue, or downtime following the established escalation protocol.</li><li>
Perform Single Minute Exchange of Dies, (SMED) activities on packaging lines</li><li>
Execute initiatives relating to OPEX objectives.</li><li>
Analyze equipment failures to improve overall reliability of the equipment, while maintaining productivity.</li><li>
Update setup documentation to ensure all settings are current and accurate.</li><li>
Work with The Business Units and Scheduling to accurately maintain a timeline for any launches or validations of products.</li><li>
Audit and maintain a high level of 5&rsquo;s in the facility to help maintain a safe, organized, clean high-performing workplace.</li><li>
Document and drive actions for specific respected value stream.</li><li>
Audit the centerline document system to insure sustainability and a high level of productivity.</li><li>
Attend Tier I Daily Directional Setting (DDS) meeting. Give feedback and follow-ups when outages occur from the centerline document.</li></ul> 
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:<ul><li>
Skill testing requirements met at approved grade level for position</li><li>
Must have at least 2-3 years applicable maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment or 2-year Technical School.</li><li>
Basic Mathematical and computer skills. Ability to perform basic computer tasks and can operate common computer programs.
</li><li>Minimum professional proficiency: Ability to speak in a way that allows one to participate effectively in various conversations. Ability to read various types of standard items addressed to general readers.</li><li>
High reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where there is only limited standardization.</li><li>
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions that may be provided in various forms.</li></ul>
Preferred:<ul><li>
Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; work independently and/or as part of a team; hold oneself in a professional manner; demonstrate attention to detail; and drive for results.</li><li>
Packaging experience.</li></ul>
The hiring range for this position is $24.58 to $29.19/hour plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Summary:
This role is responsible for designing, specifying, and maintaining control systems supporting biopharmaceutical manufacturing facilities and processes, including aseptic filling operations. This position supports end users in designing, specifying, maintaining, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading automated control systems and instrumentation, including completion of GMP-related documentation. The Automation Engineer III will lead technical assessments and upgrade projects for automated control systems and instrumentation, including managing projects through to successful completion.

Travel between facilities to support all functional areas.</li><li>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in ChE, EE, IE, ME, CS, or similar discipline or equivalent experience required.</li><li>
Minimum of eight (5 to 8) years of relevant engineering experience including a minimum of 4 years cGMP experience.</li><li>
Well-developed understanding of automation standards (including GAMP).</li><li>
Well-developed ability with control platforms from multiple vendors (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Wonderware, iFix, Ignition, PI)</li><li>
Strong working knowledge of GMP, aseptic techniques, and laboratory compliance</li><li>
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications.</li><li>
Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and communication skills.</li><li>
Able to work autonomously, drive results, and collaborate in a cross-functional environment.</li></ul>
The base salary hiring range for this position is $93,360 - $107,280 plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.
