The role includes recruitment, manpower planning, employee relations, compliance with Kuwait Labour Law, payroll coordination, performance management, and HR policy implementation for both local and expatriate staff.Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment &amp; Manpower Planning<ul><li>Plan and execute bulk hiring for restaurant staff (Chefs, Cooks, Waiters, Cashiers, Baristas, Supervisors, Cleaners, etc.).</li><li>Coordinate overseas recruitment (India, Nepal, Philippines, etc.) with licensed manpower agencies.</li><li>Conduct interviews, selection, onboarding, and deployment across outlets.</li><li>Maintain staffing levels as per business requirements and expansion plans.</li></ul>2. Compliance &amp; Labour Law<ul><li>Ensure full compliance with Kuwait Labour Law, residency regulations, and Ministry of Social Affairs &amp; Labour (MOSAL) requirements.</li><li>Handle visas, residencies, work permits, medicals, and related documentation in coordination with PROs.</li><li>Maintain employee records, contracts, and renewals.</li></ul>3. Employee Relations &amp; Welfare<ul><li>Act as a point of contact for employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.</li><li>Manage attendance, leave, absenteeism, warnings, terminations, and end-of-service benefits.</li><li>Promote a positive work culture aligned with hospitality standards.</li></ul>4. HR Policies &amp; Procedures<ul><li>Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, employee handbooks, and code of conduct.</li><li>Ensure uniform HR practices across all outlets.</li><li>Monitor compliance with company rules and disciplinary procedures.</li></ul>5. Performance Management &amp; Training<ul><li>Design and implement performance appraisal systems for restaurant staff and managers.</li><li>Identify training needs and coordinate skills, hygiene, customer service, and compliance training.</li><li>Support outlet managers in team development and productivity improvement.</li></ul>6. Payroll &amp; Compensation<ul><li>Coordinate payroll processing in line with contracts, overtime, and Kuwait wage norms.</li><li>Ensure timely salary payments and proper documentation.</li><li>Handle compensation structuring, incentives, and staff benefits.</li></ul>7. HR Reporting &amp; MIS<ul><li>Prepare monthly HR reports: headcount, attrition, recruitment status, visa status, and compliance updates.</li><li>Provide HR data and insights to senior management for decision-making.</li></ul>Required Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.</li><li>5&ndash;8 years of HR experience, preferably in restaurants, hospitality, retail, or FMCG.</li><li>Minimum 2&ndash;3 years experience in Kuwait or GCC (mandatory).</li><li>Strong knowledge of Kuwait Labour Law and visa processes.</li><li>Experience managing multi-national workforce and multi-location operations.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Strong leadership and people management skills</li><li>Excellent knowledge of recruitment (local &amp; overseas)</li><li>Hands-on experience in employee relations and disciplinary handling</li><li>Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a strong advantage)</li><li>Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment</li><li>Proficient in HR systems, MS Excel, and reporting</li></ul>Preferred Candidate Profile<ul><li>Experience working with QSR chains, casual dining, or fine-dining restaurant groups</li><li>Candidates currently in Kuwait will be preferred</li><li>Immediate or short notice joiners preferred</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: KD1,000.000 - KD1,500.000 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Are you based in Kuwait </li><li>Can you speak Arabic</li></ul>Work Location: In person
