This role requires the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, prepare materials, and maintain welding equipment to ensure optimal performance. The position operates in a manufacturing environment and requires strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and the consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE)MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; formal welding certification preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated welding experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.</li><li>Proficiency in multiple welding processes, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.</li><li>Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.</li><li>Working knowledge of welding materials, equipment, and safety procedures.</li><li>High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality workmanship.</li><li>Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.</li></ul>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Execute welding operations on mold components and fabricated parts using MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.</li><li>Weld various materials, including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.</li><li>&middot;nterpret blueprints and technical specifications to determine appropriate welding methods and requirements.</li><li>Set up, calibrate, and operate welding equipment to ensure precision and efficiency.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on tooling and welding equipment; report malfunctions as needed.</li><li>Inspect completed welds to verify conformance with quality standards and specifications.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including labor hours and material usage.</li><li>Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address design or fabrication challenges.</li><li>Support the training and development of new team members on welding techniques and safety practices.</li></ul>PHYSICAL DEMANDS<ul><li>Routinely required to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, lift, and reach.</li><li>Requires the essential use of hands, speech, eyesight, and hearing.</li><li>Lifting to 50 lbs. independently and utilizing moving equipment for heavier</li><li>Vision requirements include close and distance, color, and peripheral and depth vision.</li><li>Noise level for this work environment is moderate.</li></ul>WORKING CONDITIONS<ul><li>Work performed primarily on the production floor, frequently operating machinery.</li><li>May involve elevated temperatures and moderate to high noise levels.</li><li>Requires both independent and collaborative work in production teams.</li><li>This is a drug-free, alcohol-free, and smoke-free workplace.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Shift:<ul><li>10 hour shift</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Welding: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>Welding Certification (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
