What You'll Do
The Account Manager is responsible for the overall health and growth of assigned accounts and developing new accounts. Additionally, the Account Manager holds a working role as Senior Event Rental Consultant responsible for account management including sales activities from initiation through close. Responsible for entering and updating orders in our computer system, troubleshooting inventory questions and meeting with clients on site for site visits. Travel to installation may be required as assigned by and approved by the Regional Director of Tent Sales and Production. This position works collaboratively with other sales consultants as well as various Departments to achieve customer satisfaction. The Account Manager is responsible for strengthening customer relationships, growing assigned accounts, generating revenue and achieving long-term goals that are in line with company vision and values, with a proven track record of sales ranging between $2-4M+.
The Day-to-Day<ul><li>Directly responsible for the satisfaction of assigned key accounts</li><li>Proactively meets with key accounts to showcase equipment, offer suggestions and growth strategies</li><li>Answer phones, create customer orders and assist customers with order design, order changes and questions</li><li>Proactively maintain and expand strategic accounts</li><li>Consult with clients to determine event details and rental needs</li><li>Identify and manage target client prospects</li><li>Prepare all customer quotes and follow up within 72 hours</li><li>Prepare and enter customer orders and production schedules/timelines, verify entered orders for accuracy, complete all revisions/additions</li><li>Participate and share experiences in weekly sales meetings</li><li>Identify leads, close sales, manage prospects and acquire new business</li><li>Conduct showroom appointments and assist with showroom visitors</li><li>Master order entry software including delivery, return, and labor pricing and billing procedures</li><li>Problem solve and troubleshoot rental inventory issues</li><li>Educate and inform customers about all rental items available and cross sell all company products</li><li>Some nights and weekends required for appointments, site visits and installations</li><li>Understand and respect the confidentiality of client and company information</li><li>Establish yourself as a trustworthy member of the sales team</li><li>Attend a minimum of one industry networking event per month and build relationships for the future business of the company</li><li>Offer guidance and solutions to junior inside sales team as needed</li><li>Act a role model within the department and company</li><li>Work with senior management to develop strategies and achieve sales goals</li><li>This position reports directly to the Regional Director of Tent Sales and Production</li><li>Clear communication skills, the willingness to become a team player and help out when needed is the kind of attitude that&rsquo;s required to be successful in this position. Our management style is a team approach to problem solving</li><li>It is especially important for the person functioning in this position to develop trust within the Sales Department. Honoring commitments made to customers by our sales team is critical to maintaining our industry reputation for high quality products and service. You will be involved on a daily basis with fulfilling those commitments</li></ul> 
Requirements:

What We're Looking For<ul><li>5-7 years of hospitality or sales experience</li><li>Proven track record of meeting or exceeding multi-million-dollar revenue goals</li><li>Familiarity with Tented Projects is preferred</li><li>Sales experience and hospitality degree is a plus</li><li>Availability to work Monday through Friday during business hours (rotating weekends as needed)</li><li>Proficient with computers (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)</li><li>Positive attitude and professional demeanor</li></ul>
