The Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all inventory operations across one or more locations using <b>NetSuite ERP</b>. This role ensures inventory accuracy, availability, valuation integrity, and compliance while driving process improvements and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a hands-on NetSuite expert with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of inventory controls, costing, and reporting.</div><div><br>

Key Responsibilities:</b></div><div><b>
Inventory Control &amp; Accuracy:</b></div><ul><li>
Maintain accurate item masters, bin locations, lot/serial records, and stock levels in NetSuite.</li><li>
Own cycle count programs, physical inventories, and reconciliation of discrepancies.</li><li>
Investigate root causes of variances and implement corrective actions.</li><li>
Monitor and improve inventory KPIs including accuracy, turnover, shrinkage, and aging.</li><li>
Establish and enforce inventory control policies, SOPs, and internal controls.</li></ul><div><b>
NetSuite System Management &amp; Reporting:</b></div><ul><li>
Serve as the <b>NetSuite Inventory subject-matter expert.</b></li><li>
Execute and oversee inventory transactions including:</li><li>
Purchase orders, item receipts, transfers, adjustments, and returns.</li><li>
Configure and manage NetSuite inventory capabilities:</li><li>
Multi-location and bin management.</li><li>
Lot and serial tracking.</li><li>
Demand planning and replenishment.</li><li>
Inventory costing methods (FIFO, Average, Standard).</li><li>
Develop dashboards, saved searches, and reports for operational and financial visibility.</li><li>
Partner with IT and Finance on NetSuite enhancements, integrations, and upgrades.</li></ul><div><b>
Process Optimization &amp; Cost Control</b>:</div><ul><li>
Develop and implement best practices for inventory workflows and controls.</li><li>
Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency gains, and waste reduction.</li><li>
Analyze inventory levels to balance service levels with carrying costs.</li><li>
Drive excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory reduction strategies.</li><li>
Support forecasting, demand planning, and procurement alignment.</li></ul><div><b>
Compliance, Audit &amp; Financial Support:</b></div><ul><li>
Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and financial policies.</li><li>
Support inventory valuation, reserves, and audit preparation.</li><li>
Deliver accurate, timely inventory costing and reconciliation reports.</li><li>
Maintain strong alignment with Finance on period close activities.</li></ul><div><b>
Team Collaboration &amp; Training:</b></div><ul><li>
Train and support team members on NetSuite inventory processes and best practices.</li><li>
Act as escalation point for inventory system issues and process questions.</li><li>
Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Repair, Procurement, Logistics, Sales, and Finance.</li><li>
Support multi-site inventory operations as applicable.</li></ul><div><br>

Qualifications:</b></div><div><b>
Required:</b></div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).</li><li><b>
3+ years in inventory management; 1+ year NetSuite ERP experience (inventory modules required).</b></li><li>
Strong understanding of inventory controls, cycle counting, and reconciliation.</li><li>
Experience with inventory costing and valuation.</li><li>
Advanced Excel skills (analysis, pivot tables, lookups).</li></ul><div><b>
Preferred:</b></div><ul><li>
Experience in depot repair, reverse logistics, or distribution environments.</li><li>
NetSuite certifications or advanced configuration experience.</li><li>
Experience with serialized, lot-controlled, or regulated inventory.</li><li>
Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement background.</li><li>
Multi-location or multi-warehouse inventory experience.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
