Job Purpose / Summary:
The Retail Store Associate will assist in the day-to-day operations within a best-in-class industrial supply retail store. Reporting to the Store Manager, they will proactively drive product sales to exertional customers, promote product and customer demo/training, execute receiving/shipping/storage of in-store merchandise, and follow our retail fundaments to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the retail branch location. 
Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
The Retail Store Associate will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:<ul><li>
Contribute to branch performance against KPI goals and work proactively to improve results.<ul><li>
Processing counter sales and checking out customers</li><li>
Picking, packing, and shipping warehouse orders</li><li>
Answering customer phone calls in a timely manner</li><li>
Restocking, pricing, cleaning, and maintaining visual standards</li></ul></li>
Other duties as expected.

</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Education Requirements:
To perform the job successfully, an individual must have the following:<ul><li>
Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older</li><li>
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred</li><li>
Minimum of 1 year in a similar role.</li><li>
Experience with using a computer for daily tasks.
</li><li>Have extensive verbal communication required for customer and associate relations.</li><li>
Ability to work closely with all levels inside the retail location.</li><li>
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.</li></ul>

Working Conditions / Physical Demands:<ul><li>
High SKU diverse retail store operations that encompass small individual items to large material handling equipment.</li><li>
Some MHE equipment used.</li><li>
Utilize a computer and other tools to monitor productivity and operations.</li><li>
Lift, push, pull, and grasp up to 48 pounds while standing and kneeling.</li><li>
Work in a high traffic area.</li></ul></div>
