Are you passionate about the education and development of young children?Pebbles Preschool, a ministry of The Rock Church, is looking for a dedicated, creative, hard-working Toddler Teacher to join our team! Experience is preferred for this role. We are a Christian based school whose purpose is to warmly welcome families to our Christian community by offering quality childcare to the Reno/Sparks area. **This is a full time position (8 hour shift Monday-Friday)**Responsibilities: -Help plan and implement activities that encourage children&rsquo;s curiosity, exploration, and problem-solving. -Provide the children with age-appropriate activities that promote physical, intellectual, and social growth. -Assist in executing lesson plans. -Incorporate Christian values and Biblical principals into daily curriculum and activities. -Help children develop problem-solving skills. -Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment. -Oversee safety in and out of the classroom. -Provide a supportive and safe environment where children can learn and practice appropriate behaviors. -Understand all school policies and procedures. -Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, families and coworkers. -Completing initial childcare trainings and fulfilling 24 hours of continuing education per licensing year. -Other duties as assigned.Qualifications: -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Patient and engaging personality. -Ability to multi-task and excel in a high energy environment. -Displays a passion for teaching preschool children. -Knowledge of early learning curriculum and child development. -A positive mindset towards child learning and development. -Desire and ability to work with children with diverse backgrounds and levels of ability. -Dependable, responsible, punctual. -Ability to maintain composure during stressful situations. -Flexible and adaptable, willing to fill in when required. -Familiarity with the licensing requirements of State of Nevada Human Services. -Able to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment. -A genuine love of what you do and the families you serve.Why Work for Us:-Competitive Salary (Based on education level and experience) -Medical/Dental/Vision Benefits Available to Qualifying Employees -Accrued Paid Time Off -Childcare Discount -Referral Bonuses -Paid Holidays -Monthly Birthday Lunches -Professional Development OpportunitiesApplicants must be at least 18 years of age and be able to meet the required qualifications for care givers in the State of Nevada including fingerprinting and background check through the State of Nevada OR an active Sheriff's Card.
