*$500 SIGN ON BONUS, after 90 days of completed work*We are looking for a kid-friendly dental assistant who is looking to grow with our practice and be a part of the PDHW family!Responsibilities<ul><li>Warm and patient with our little ones</li><li>Perform x-ray's and prophy's on children of all ages</li><li>Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed</li><li>Sterilize instruments according to regulations</li><li>Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry</li><li>Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions</li><li>Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked</li><li>Schedule appointments</li><li>Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience as a pediatric dental assistant</li><li>Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods</li><li>Understanding of health &amp; safety regulations</li><li>Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus</li><li>Good computer skills</li><li>Excellent communication and people skills</li><li>Well-organized and reliable</li><li>High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred</li><li>Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. EFDA)</li></ul>Experience- Dental Assisting Experience (1 year minimum)Job Type: Full-timePay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hourExpected hours: 35 &ndash; 37 per weekExperience:<ul><li>Dental assisting: 6 Months (Required)</li></ul>Pay: $21.00 - $24.50 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>On-the-job training</li><li>Paid orientation</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Uniform allowance</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>EFDA Certification (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Winter Garden, FL 34787 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
