Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage day-to-day financial operations including bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in line with accounting standards.</li><li>Prepare annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with program teams.</li><li>Monitor budget utilization and provide regular variance analysis to management.</li><li>Ensure compliance with donor agreements and prepare timely donor financial reports.</li><li>Liaise with donors, auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities as required.</li><li>Implement and enforce internal controls, financial policies, and procedures.</li><li>Coordinate internal and external audits and address audit findings.</li><li>Ensure compliance with taxation laws and other statutory requirements.</li><li>Provide financial insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.</li><li>Supervise and mentor finance staff, building their capacity on compliance and reporting.</li><li>Support program teams with financial planning, cost allocations, and grant management.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Master&rsquo;s degree in Finance, Accounting, MBA (Finance/Accounting), or related field.</li><li>Professional certification (CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA) preferred.</li><li>3 to5 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.</li><li>Prior experience in NGOs or donor-funded projects will be preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of donor compliance and local financial regulations.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.</li><li>Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.</li><li>High integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.</li><li>Team leadership and mentoring capability.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeWork Location: In person
