The Linehaul Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of freight across long distances, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Develop and optimize routes for linehaul operations, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely delivery of freight.</li><li>
Schedule and assign loads to drivers based on availability, capacity, and delivery requirements.</li><li>
Maintain constant communication with drivers, providing them with necessary information and updates regarding routes, schedules, and any changes.</li><li>
Address and resolve any issues that arise during transit, including delays, equipment breakdowns, and route changes, ensuring minimal disruption to service.</li><li>
Ensure all linehaul operations comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.</li><li>
Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, driver logs, route details, and delivery times.</li><li>
Monitor the performance of drivers and transportation equipment, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.</li><li>
Liaise with customers to provide updates on shipment status, address inquiries, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.</li><li>
Use dispatch software and GPS systems to track and manage the movement of freight efficiently.</li><li>
Work closely with other departments, including operations, customer service, and warehouse teams, to coordinate and streamline logistics processes.</li><li>
Prepare and present regular reports on linehaul operations, including performance metrics, delivery times, and any issues encountered.</li><li>
Monitor and manage transportation costs, seeking opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field preferred.</li><li>
Minimum of 2 years of experience in dispatching or logistics coordination, preferably in linehaul or long-distance transportation.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of transportation logistics and routing principles.</li><li>
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>
Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations.</li><li>
Proficiency in using dispatch software, GPS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.</li><li>
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.</li></ul></div>

Linehaul Dispatcher

<div>Pay: Pay is based on miles driven at $0.8253 per mile. Average wage may range from $1,500-2,300 per week.
Overview: As a Linehaul Driver, you will be responsible for transporting freight over long distances between terminals, ensuring safe and timely delivery while adhering to company policies and regulations. You will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of the supply chain by transporting goods efficiently and reliably.
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Operate commercial vehicles, such as tractor-trailers or semi-trucks, in a safe and responsible manner, following all traffic laws, regulations, and company safety policies.</li><li>
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.</li><li>
Adhere to established routes and schedules while maintaining awareness of changing road and weather conditions.</li><li>
Load and unload freight onto the truck using appropriate equipment and techniques, ensuring that cargo is properly secured and balanced to prevent shifting during transit.</li><li>
Verify the accuracy of shipping documents, including bills of lading, manifests, and delivery instructions, and ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and legibly.</li><li>
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, terminal managers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during transit.</li><li>
Report any accidents, incidents, or maintenance issues promptly and accurately, following company procedures and regulatory requirements.</li><li>
Interact professionally with customers and other individuals encountered during delivery and pickup operations, representing the company in a positive and customer-focused manner.</li><li>
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and courteously.</li><li>
Maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing commercial vehicle operation, including hours-of-service regulations, weight limits, and licensing requirements.</li><li>
Ensure accurate and timely completion of driver logs, trip reports, and other required documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (e.g., Class A, Hazmat, Tanker) required.</li><li>
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a commercial truck driver, with a clean driving record and demonstrated commitment to safety.</li><li>
No license suspension, revocation for more than 30 days</li><li>
No violations of the following in the last 36 moth period prior to the date of hire:<ul><li>
Conviction of an at fault accident</li><li>
Reckless driving in any motor vehicle</li></ul></li><li>
No violation of the following for the last 60 month period prior to the date of hire:<ul><li>
No DUI or reckless driving in and motor vehicle</li><li>
No violations of DOT drug or alcohol requirements/proof of SAP required for any violations</li></ul></li><li>
Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and other technology used for tracking hours of service and recording driver activity.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and industry best practices for cargo securement, vehicle inspection, and safe driving techniques.</li><li>
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, coworkers, and other stakeholders.</li><li>
Physical stamina and ability to perform the duties of the job, including lifting, bending, and sitting for extended periods.</li><li>
Willingness to work long hours, weekends, and holidays as needed, with flexibility to accommodate changing schedules and delivery demands.</li></ul></div>
