Position Summary

Penmarc Inspired Spaces, LLC is currently seeking a Trim Carpenter to install various types of millwork, cabinets, and closet organizers for residential and commercial clients. Penmarc is a premier service provider for custom-designed spaces that inspire organized lifestyles. Working with products chosen by the customer, our team of professional installers brings the project to life by creating spaces that leave clients refreshed, excited, and ready to organize.

As a Trim Carpenter, you will be &ldquo;hands-on&rdquo; managing the field service installation of systems including closet shelves, organizers, cabinetry, trim and millwork, renovations, remodels, sheetrock repair, and painting. You are responsible for direct customer service through project completion and client satisfaction, bringing the highest level of professionalism and quality to every project. You will also alert scheduling to issues in the field, strategize to eliminate these issues on future jobs, and track your progress to maintain excellence in workmanship and customer service.

To succeed, candidates must meet the following Core Requirements:

<li>Business Credentials: Maintain all required business licenses and provide a valid Certificate of Insurance (COI) and Workers&rsquo; Compensation coverage.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Transportation Capability: Ability to pick up and deliver 4X8 pallets of product using a van, truck, or trailer.</li>
<li>Tools &amp; Carpentry Skills: Should own basic tools commonly used for trim-level carpentry work. Essential specialty tools (such as a HEPA vacuum) are required. A skilled craftsman is expected to maintain personal tools for efficiency and quality workmanship.&rdquo;</li>
<li>Background Screening: Successfully pass background check.</li>
<li>RRP Certification: Preferred RRP Certified or willing to obtain by attending training within the first month of employment.</li>

Essential Functions
<ul>
<li>Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance customer experience.</li>
<li>Install custom closets, cabinetry, trim, millwork, and related finishes to meet project specifications, ensuring all installations are plumb, level, and securely fastened.</li>
<li>Perform tasks including trim work, sheetrock repair, light painting, and construction of millwork systems according to design specifications.</li>
<li>Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and specifications accurately.</li>
<li>Measure and cut materials with precision and safety using hand and power tools.</li>
<li>Adhere to work schedules with punctuality and reliability, ensuring timely completion of tasks.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Market Managers, Scheduling Coordinators, and other team members to meet project timelines.</li>
<li>Complete all job tasks, time clock entries, and review plans and scope of work within the proprietary project management system (Cruxos).</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and safe workspace, following all safety protocols and procedures.</li>
<li>Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude in all clients and team interactions.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues on-site in partnership with the Market Manager and clients.</li>
<li>Communicate promptly with scheduling and management regarding job progress or issues.</li>
<li>Respect the client&rsquo;s home and maintain a professional work area, minimizing disturbance to other areas.</li>
<li>Represent Penmarc with professionalism and uphold company values in every interaction.</li>
<li>Be willing and able to travel as required for project needs, including overnight stays when necessary.</li> 
</ul>
Requirements &amp; Experience
<ul>
<li>High School diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent experience</li>
<li>Ability to obtain EPA Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Lead Renovator Certification within 30 days of hire</li>
<li>Knowledge of general safety practices or OSHA training preferred</li>
<li>5+ years of experience in construction, carpentry, cabinetry, remodeling, and millwork</li>
<li>Experience in interior trim, remodels, renovations, shelving, or closet organizers</li>
<li>Ability to use hand tools, reciprocating and miter saws, and power tools correctly and safely</li>
<li>Ability to read layouts from blueprints and apply basic mathematics</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize and organize effectively with strong attention to detail</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure</li>
<li>Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks</li>
<li>Ability to use dispatching equipment and mobile applications</li>
<li>A phone or device with a sufficient data plan to access proprietary project management system (Cruxos)</li>
<li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with an acceptable driving record</li>
<li>Reliable transportation and Proof of required vehicle insurance.</li>
