About the Role:</div><div>
As an intern on the Healthy Domains team, you will work on the technical systems that shape search performance and domain health, contributing improvements to structured data, metadata, sitemaps, crawl optimization, and other SEO components. You will take on well-scoped engineering tasks, lead a focused project such as enhancing domain-health tooling or building SEO automations, and collaborate with engineers, SEO specialists, and editorial teams to validate changes and support cross-functional search strategies.</div><div>
Internship Responsibilities will Include:</div><ul><li><div>
Implement improvements to technical SEO components, including structured data, meta configuration, sitemaps, and crawl optimization.</div></li><li><div>
Address well-scoped engineering tasks related to domain health metrics, link integrity, and site performance.</div></li><li><div>
Lead a scoped internship project, such as enhancing a domain-health dashboard, building an SEO automation tool, or improving search-facing platform components.</div></li><li><div>
Collaborate with SEO specialists, editorial partners, and engineering teams to validate changes and contribute to cross-functional search strategies.</div></li></ul><div><br>
About You:</div><div>
Candidates for this role should have:</div><ul><li><div>
Foundational knowledge in web engineering, particularly HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic web architecture concepts.</div></li><li><div>
Interest or introductory exposure to technical SEO topics such as structured data, rendering behavior, or performance optimization (not required, but a plus).</div></li><li><div>
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.</div></li><li><div>
Open to new challenges and excited to grow within a fast-paced, expanding, and constantly evolving organization</div></li><li><div>
Creative and driven self-starter that can take direction and run with it, asking questions up front to ensure you&rsquo;re able to complete the task successfully</div></li><li><div>

Pay Range</div>
Hourly: New York: $20.00 - $20.00<div></div><div>
The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. Summer Intern, Product Engineering

<div><div>PEOPLE is looking for a talented social/video producer to create and program engaging, dynamic video content for TikTok and Instagram on the weekends (Saturday-Monday) during awards season (January-March). They will also assist in programming static content across all platforms, with the goal of driving traffic, for part of their shift.</div><p></p><div><br>
The right candidate is social-media savvy, an avid user and observer of industry trends.</div><div>
Strong news judgment, video editing and production skills, creative thinking and understanding of social media strategies and industry trends are essential. We're seeking someone who is able to generate viral wins for the brand and harness PEOPLE's loyal audience while attracting new followers. They should be a team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for entertainment, pop culture and online trends. They should be stepped in internet culture as well as the news cycle. They must have impeccable writing skills and attention to detail, and they should be available to work special hours for awards shows and other major live events as needed.</div><p></p><div><br>
Must be proficient in Adobe Premiere and Photoshop, with past experience programming TikTok and Instagram for a news brand. Experience at a national news brand is preferred. At least 2-3 years experience is required.</div><p></p><div><br>
