Additionally, they are expected to participate in developing departmental goals, objectives, and systems while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Maintains employee changes by processing all requests within the HRIS and file system.</li><li>Creates and compiles various reports from database as requested.</li><li>Drives employees&rsquo; understanding of benefit programs by regularly generating communications and supporting employees as situations arise.</li><li>Acts as liaison with various insurance carriers and fosters effective relationships with client representatives.</li><li>Keeps management advised of potential problem areas; recommends/implements solutions as appropriate.</li><li>Oversees leave of absence management, including employee and vendor support.</li><li>Creates and maintains all employee FMLA, PFL, disability and Worker&rsquo;s Comp case files within assigned programs.</li><li>Creates and presents trainings for related to Human Resources related topics, including New Staff Orientation.</li><li>Tracks completion of performance evaluations within assigned programs and coaches managers on process.</li></ul>JOB TYPE: Full-timeSHIFT: Monday &ndash; Friday DayHOURLY RATE: $64,400-$68,400 Salary (Exempt)This position is benefit eligible and has generous time off.ROLE REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>Must meet one of the below requirements</li></ul>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in human resources, business or applicable field plus 3 years&rsquo; experience-OR-Associate&rsquo;s degree plus six years&rsquo; experience-OR-Ten years human resource experience in lieu of degree.<ul><li>3+ years of experience using a Human Resource Management System (HRIS) is required; UKG Pro and Workforce Management preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with COBRA, ERISA, FMLA and related state and federal regulations</li><li>Experience in the administration of benefits/compensation programs and other Human Resources programs</li><li>Extensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications</li><li>Must be able to display a high level of discretion and understand the sensitive nature of confidential employee information with superior emotional intelligence.</li><li>Must be able to travel to various program sites, as needed.</li></ul>*All hires must possess a valid NYS Driver&rsquo;s License at the time of hire.Job Type: Full-timePay: $64,400.00 - $68,400.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Bohemia, NY 11716 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Bohemia, NY 11716: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
