Warehouse Loading Manager Overview
This position is responsible for all aspects of Loading Operations (greater than 8mm cases), including but not limited to: Bulk, Conventional Pre-sell, Full Service and other delivery methods to provide service to Sales while adhering to PBV Operations standards.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
<ul><li>Manages the Vertique Automated Loading system and/or warehouse loading volume through Voice Pick, Claw, and hand pick processes.
</li><li>Manages the activities and tasks of the Warehouse Supervisors.
</li><li>Responsible for the accuracy, quality, and efficiency of the loading process.
</li><li>Responsible for the timely completion of productivity reports.
</li><li>Investigates ASN errors.
</li><li>Ensures GMP&rsquo;s are maintained.
</li><li>Performs a full range of managerial duties for employees supervised, including but not limited to: staffing, coaching/counseling, employee development, and terminating.
</li><li>Enforces all facility GMP requirements, Food Safety, and ISO 22000 standards.
</li><li>Complies with Federal, State, Local, and PBV policies, procedures, and safety rules, regulations, and guidelines.
</li><li>Responsible for facility organization and cleanliness
</li><li>Responsible for meeting cost, inventory, and productivity performance standards
</li><li>Other duties as assigned.
</li></ul>Required Qualifications
<ul><li>A high school diploma or GED required.
</li><li>A Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business Administration or a related field is required or eight (8) years of warehouse management/supervisory experience required (beverage industry experience preferred).
</li><li>Three (3) years of warehouse experience required.
</li><li>Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment.
</li><li>Must demonstrate attention to detail, organization, prioritization, as well as problem solving and communication skills.
</li><li>Previous trouble shooting experience required.
</li><li>Must be able to complete forklift/powered industrial truck certification to operate a forklift and drive tractor trailer trucks while on company property.
</li><li>Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
</li><li>Must be able to work the hours necessary to complete the assigned tasks.
</li><li>Must be willing to travel 10% of the time by plane, train, or car.

Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Safely and efficiently performs a variety of duties within PBV&rsquo;s warehouse operations to support both internal and external customers and meet business goals and demands. Duties will include pulling, loading, unloading, sorting, staging, stacking, building pallets, wrapping, transporting, counting, performing quality control checks, dumping, rework, replenishing, and otherwise handling of PBV products, raw materials, packaging, and other warehouse goods and materials.

Key Requirements for Candidates for the Inventory Team:
<ul><li>Strong inventory counting experience, including cycle counting 25&ndash;100 different items daily.
</li><li>High attention to detail, with the ability to identify and understand different products and layer counts.
</li><li>Forklift experience (required; if not, we can provide training).
</li><li>Proficiency with tablets, scanners, and general technology use.
</li></ul>RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
<ul><li>Verifies accuracy and quality of products that are received from vendors/suppliers and shipped to customers.
</li><li>Performs all check-in/check-out duties assigned and maintains proper records (Bill of Ladings (BOLs), receivers, pick tickets, and other usual and customary record keeping) for each individual task according to the warehouse standard operating procedures.
</li><li>Counts goods that are returned to the plant by sales and delivery personnel that are damaged, full, and/or empty.
</li><li>Safely and efficiently operates the yard switcher and automatic/straight trucks on premises to and from their designated parking area to bay doors for loading/unloading.
</li><li>Interacts with automation systems and screens, voice pick system, paper pick tickets and/or other warehouse management systems as required to verify and record product, and to build, finish, and verify accuracy of pallets or place product on automatic conveyors in proper order to ensure accurate load outs and inventory counts.
</li><li>Identifies machine faults, troubleshoots, corrects system errors/issues and performs basic cleaning and maintenance on automation systems.
</li><li>Safely and efficiently operates various warehouse material handling/moving equipment in order to store, stage, retrieve, replenish, load or unload product and materials in designated areas or onto automatic conveyors/trailers for shipment. *Equipment may include single or double forklifts, High Speed Picking Area (HSPA) Claw, walkie-rider pallet jack, wrappers, or any other equipment as designated.
</li><li>Safely and efficiently operates other warehouse and material handling machinery, including the floor scrubber, cardboard baler, dock plates, bay doors, or any other equipment as designated.
</li><li>Performs all required safety and pre-trip checks on assigned machinery.
</li><li>Performs janitorial tasks as necessary in designated work area to maintain a clean and organized space (which may include the full facility), to include emptying of trash, cleaning up spills, picking up debris, restacking overturned pallets/product, or other janitorial tasks as assigned.
</li><li>Adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Security and other food safety rules and guidelines.
</li><li>Ensures accuracy and quality of work.

</li></ul>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
<ul><li>High school diploma or GED is preferred.
</li><li>Must be able to pass the forklift skills assessment and safely operate PBV Material Handling Equipment.
</li><li>At least six (6) months of Forklift experience preferred.
</li><li>Computer/Human Machine Interface skills.
</li><li>Mechanical aptitude.
</li><li>Good math, reading, writing, and communication skills.
</li><li>Sorting and grouping skills.
</li><li>Must be able to read and understand the difference in product labels and load ticket instructions.
</li><li>Must be able to count large quantities of products and materials.
</li><li>Must be able to read/hear and understand procedures for performing work.
</li><li>Must be able to work in a warehouse environment that is not climate controlled with exposure to hot/humid or cold weather conditions.
