Shifts: Monday through Thursday 2:00 PM - 8: 00 PM</li><li>
Friday and Saturday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Sundays off Major Holidays offLocation: Wausau Job Summary: The Security Officer is responsible for conducting routine patrols throughout the public facility to ensure the safety, security, and well-being of patrons, staff, and property. This role requires maintaining a friendly yet authoritative presence that promotes a welcoming environment while upholding facility policies and rules. The officer must respond calmly and professionally to rule violations, disturbances, or safety concerns, including situations that may be stressful or high-pressure. Strong communication, sound judgment, and conflict-resolution skills are essential, as the officer is expected to de-escalate situations respectfully, enforce facility regulations consistently, and provide assistance or guidance to patrons as needed.</li><li>
Minimum Requirements:</li><li>
Pass background check</li><li>
Must pass on-site drug test at time of hire</li><li>
Must be 18 years of age or older</li><li>
Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security &ndash; Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability.</li><li>
Strong attention to detail</li><li>
Must be able to be professional in all settings, have open communication with Operations Manager.</li><li>

Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation. Must not have any felonies.</li><li>
Must be able to obtain a DSPS Private Security Person license.</li><li>
Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</li><li>
Conduct foot patrols</li><li>
 Must be able to handle de-escalation with patrons in a professional manner when needed.</li><li>
Support staff on premises with any conflicts with patrons violating rules and regulations.</li><li>
 Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules</li><li>
Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security</li><li>
Warn violators of premise rules and regulations</li><li>
 Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.</li><li>
 Report any facility issues.</li><li>
 Request emergency personnel for high risk situations when applicable.</li></ul>

What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing:<ul><li>
Answer and follow up incoming signals, alarms and requests</li><li>
Initiate outbound calls to customers, police agencies and emergency contacts</li><li>
Accurately document accounts to note any events that occurred or action taken</li><li>
Work additional hours when necessary &ndash; fill open shifts and cover during storms.</li><li>
When appropriate, inform customers of Per Mar Security Services of products and services and refer business to appropriate departments.</li><li>
As this position develops, the employee may be assigned additional duties or special projects as deemed necessary by management.</li></ul>
What You&rsquo;ll Need To Do This:<ul><li>
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.</li><li>
One to three years dispatching, call center, and/or multi-line phone experience highly preferred.</li><li>
Strong customer service focus/skills a must.</li><li>
Must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.</li><li>
Strong computer skills with demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel. Internet skills required.</li><li>
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.</li><li>
Possess the ability to multi-task and pay strong attention to detail.</li></ul></div>

1st Shift - Alarm Dispatcher

<div>$19 hr. Gate Security Officer - Franklin 
Full Time:
Tuesday - Saturday, 2pm-1030pm 
Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Attend gate and provide access control for customers coming in and out of the back lot of the facility</li><li>
Check accuracy of orders picked up as customers leave the facility</li><li>
Thoroughly examine vehicles as they enter the premises and make note of existing items within vehicles</li><li>
 Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules</li><li>
Twice per shift, walk the yard and report any suspicious activities or criminal acts</li><li>
Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts</li><li>
Request emergency personnel for high risk situations</li></ul>
