Per Mar Security is looking for qualified candidates for gate Security Officers in a home improvement store distribution setting. The best candidates will be comfortable working independently. You are detail oriented and will have basic technology skills including the ability to operate a tablet.M-F: $19.00/HR SAT-SUN: $20.00/HR<ul><li>
Attend gate and provide access control for customers coming in and out of the back lot of the facility</li><li>
Check accuracy of orders picked up as customers leave the facility</li><li>
Thoroughly examine vehicles as they enter the premises and make note of existing items within vehicles</li><li>
 Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules</li><li>
Twice per shift, walk the yard and report any suspicious activities or criminal acts</li><li>
Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts</li><li>
Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations</li></ul>
What you&rsquo;ll need:
- High School Diploma or GED.- State Security Officer License
- Valid driver&rsquo;s license and a good driving record.- Technical training or college education in the related field (preferred)<ul><li>Previous experience as a security officer (preferred</li><li>Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security &ndash; Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability.</li></ul>

Job Description:<ul><li>Identify and Apprehend Shoplifters through floor patrol and the use of Closed Circuit TV Cameras</li><li>Report Writing</li><li>Interacting with local Law Enforcement as needed</li><li>Provide Courtroom Testimony as required</li></ul>
Job Requirement:<ul><li>Pre-Employment Criminal Background Check and Drug Screening</li><li>Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time</li><li>Reliable transportation</li><li>Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently</li><li>Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means</li><li>Ability to write legible, accurate and easily understood reports</li><li>Must be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation</li><li>Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision</li><li>Attendance for scheduled shifts. *** Must have previous Law Enforcement, Military, or Security Experience. *** 
We are looking for an EXPERIENCED SECURITY OFFICER for a lab in Coralville, Iowa. 
Hours: Friday through Tuesday (00:00-08:00) Wednesday and Thursday (OFF)
*** May be asked to work overtime if needed. Training is during the day shift hours first. *** 
Pay: $19.10 per hour. Paid Bi-weekly. 
REQUIREMENTS/DUTIES:<ul><li>
Exceptional interpersonal communication skills</li><li>
Able to stay off personal phone</li><li>
Able to walk extended periods of time (est 8-10 miles worth per shift.)</li><li>
