OverviewJoin our dynamic engineering team as an Engineering Administrative Assistant, where your organizational skills and proactive attitude will keep our engineering department running smoothly and efficiently. This vital role supports project managers, engineers, and administrative staff by managing daily operations, coordinating schedules, and ensuring seamless communication across departments. Will entertain 3/4 position (32 hours) with schedule flexibility to allow for a good work/home balance. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel at multitasking with a positive, energetic approach, this is the perfect opportunity to contribute to innovative engineering projects.Responsibilities<ul><li>Communicate with customers regarding new and existing projects, quotes, and schedule updates</li><li>Use Excel, PowerPoint and Word to share updates, progress, and changes as projects move thru our process</li><li>Coordinate shipping of product to and from customers</li><li>Take inventories of daily production and report internally and externally</li><li>Support office management by coordinating calendar schedules for team meetings, appointments, and project deadlines.</li><li>Perform data entry and proofreading tasks to ensure accuracy in reports, correspondence, and technical documentation.</li><li>Handle client communication via email and phone support while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Prior office experience or administrative support roles within an engineering or technical environment is highly preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency with computer literacy including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), and data entry systems.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.</li><li>Proven ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining professionalism at all times.</li></ul>This role offers an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of a forward-thinking engineering team dedicated to innovation and excellence.
