Role:</div><div>
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a full-stack role to join our Ecosystems Development Team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing the core software platform of our application, with a focus on product security, system hardening, diagnosability, and supportability, along with contributing to the development and maintenance of UI components as needed.</div><div></div><div><br>
Our team is currently working on and has delivered key projects, such as developing features that enable virtualization platforms for both relational databases (like Oracle, SQL Server, DB2) and non-relational/distributed databases (such as MongoDB, Cassandra, CockroachDB, Yugabyte).</div><div></div><div><br>
Additionally, you will be involved in the development of features that enable a robust compliance platform for various data sources at scale, including MongoDB, Snowflake, and others. This involves ensuring that our software meets stringent regulatory requirements, supports data privacy, and adheres to industry standards, allowing our customers to manage sensitive information with confidence across multiple platforms.</div><div></div><div><br>

<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Responsibilities:
</b></h3><ul><li>Develop large-scale components of the product.</li><li>
Lead and deliver complex projects by establishing structure in uncertain areas, defining clear deliverables, and ensuring timely execution</li><li>
Lead and mentor other engineers to achieve a common goal.</li><li>
Analyze, debug and diagnose complex software systems; considering complexities like Performance, Scale, Interaction with Operating systems, multi-threaded interactions, etc.</li><li>
Address time-sensitive issues within familiar software modules or subsystems, identify root causes, and proactively enhance the robustness of individual features.</li><li>
Evaluate the impact of issues to drive systematic improvements in specific areas.</li><li>
Collaborate with engineering teams, product management, sales, and customers to understand requirements and develop effective solutions</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Required Skills:
</b></h3><ul><li>4-8 years of experience building enterprise products using Python (Preferred) or Java, with strong programming skills and a focus on writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to industry best practices.</li><li>
Experience working with databases, including operations such as backup, restore, and start/stop, for large-scale relational and non-relational databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, CockroachDB, and YugabyteDB.</li><li>
Deep understanding of file systems and operating systems (Linux/Unix).</li><li>
Experience with front-end development using JavaScript frameworks like Angular or React.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Good To have:
</b></h3><ul><li>Knowledge of modern DevOps technologies, including containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker.</li><li>
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and understanding of cloud-native architectures.</li><li>
Experience with quality assurance processes and methodologies.</li><li>
Experience in performance tuning and optimization of complex systems.</li><li>
Familiarity with security protocols and best practices in software development.</li><li>

<div>Mark Bytnar, RVP of Sales for the Puppet brand at Perforce is searching for an Enterprise Account Executive to join the team. We are looking for an individual who is an experienced, high-energy sales professional with a proven track record of over-achieving quota. You will drive the revenue for new business, services, and renewals, through effective value selling and relationship development at the Director-level and above. You must be well-rounded in all aspects of enterprise account selling, including the ability to create a significant pipeline in a short amount of time, identify business drivers, and have a command of and deliver the Puppet value proposition. You will need to have experience selling software to large enterprise customers in the Chicago and Midwest markets, and be well-connected to in-region channel partners.</div><div></div><div><br>

Actively manage current accounts and prospect to develop opportunities in medium and large Fortune 1000 accounts.</li><li>
Attainment of quota, quarterly and annually.</li><li>
Develop an active and vibrant pipeline, equal to 3x quota.</li><li>
Prepare accurate weekly forecasts and reports to sales leadership.</li><li>
Maintain current, accurate, and active Salesforce hygiene and have familiarity with MEDDPICC and Command of the Message.</li><li>
Ensure the successful rollout and adoption of Puppet Enterprise and related products through strong account management activities and coordination with pre-sales engineering and support resources.</li><li>
Develop account-based selling methodologies and closing plans.</li><li>
Prospect for new customers in conjunction with our channel partner and SI community.</li><li>
Build and strengthen the business relationship with current accounts and new prospects by leveraging the renewal revenue stream and converting to larger, strategic deals for long-term business opportunities.</li><li>
Travel as necessary to develop account relationships and close large opportunities.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Requirements:</b></h3><ul><li>
4+ years of experience as an enterprise account executive selling into the Chicago and Midwest markets (IL, MO, MI, IN, KS).</li><li>
Selling software to Fortune 500/1000 accounts with a strong technical acumen, as well as the ability to have a presence with upper management and executives in the accounts.</li><li>
Building and executing on a territory plan (Target Account Selling or other sales methodology to ensure you can develop a long-term selling strategy within these large accounts as well as create short-term tactical opportunities.)</li><li>
Driving demand for newer products and are skilled at selling professional services.</li><li>
Calling on platform, infrastructure, and application development teams at the Director to C-level.</li><li>
You have experience selling direct, leveraging the channel and alliance partners to deliver solutions with a proven track record of success.</li></ul><div>
The base pay range targeted for this role is $130,000 - $142,500 USD. This position is eligible for a Sales Commission Plan.
