Job Title: Content ManagerReports to: FounderPosition Summary:Are you our future content manager?We&rsquo;re looking for an all-star content manager to join our growing team as the owner of our inbound marketing initiatives. Your goal will be to help us drive qualified traffic, leads, and sales by establishing our company as the #1 trusted authority in Residential Property Management.Our content manager must have championship-level passion for writing and storytelling with a journalist&rsquo;s investigative mindset, as well as an obsession with written content performance, content management, and performance analytics.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Own the content strategy outlined in Marcus Sheridan&rsquo;s They Ask, You Answer and Endless Customers that allows for consistent publication of the types of content that drives revenue and significantly impacts sales.</li><li>Fluent in Performance Asset Management voice</li><li>Build content strategy for 20 new investor client contracts monthly</li><li>Own monthly scorecard of 20 new investor contracts</li><li>Publish monthly newsletter for current investor clients and resident customers</li><li>Publish monthly newsletter drip campaign for potential new investor clients</li><li>Own monthly scorecard for reviews at Google and Yelp</li><li>Own monthly scorecard for Reddit</li><li>Own BBB performance</li><li>Own performance</li><li>Build monthly newsletter for realtor partner program</li><li>Build content strategy for realtor partner program</li><li>Publish at least three new written pieces of content per week.</li><li>Interview internal subject matter experts for content.</li><li>Edit, proofread and improve writers&rsquo; posts.</li><li>Direct company email marketing efforts, including newsletters and automated workflows.</li><li>Use AI tools to optimize efficiency for the content creation process, including, but not limited to: generating and enhancing new content, evaluating content performance, and streamlining content distribution</li><li>Work closely with the sales team to identify content topics and develop editorial calendar.</li><li>Rely on content analytics and reporting to inform decisions.</li><li>This includes Google Search Console, GA4, CRM, Semrush, Behavioral Data and various other tools as needed</li><li>Lead search engine optimization SEO/GEO efforts for website and content.</li><li>Produce premium content, including ebooks, pillar pages, self selection tools and other offers used to convert our audience.</li><li>Distribute content via social media for community engagement and long-term content promotion.</li><li>Professional development and continued education in relevant areas (e.g., content technology, HubSpot certifications, writing proficiency).</li></ul>Educational backgroundA degree in English, Journalism, and Public Relations is highly preferred but not mandatory. Commensurate experience will be considered.Skills and required knowledge<ul><li>A true passion for writing.</li><li>Impeccable writing and editorial skills, with an outstanding command of the English language.</li><li>An understanding of common editorial style guides, e.g. AP Style, Chicago Manual of Style, etc.</li><li>Clear articulation of the business goal behind creating a piece (or series) of content.</li><li>Has used and experimented with AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Llama, etc.</li><li>Project management skills to manage editorial schedules and deadlines within corporate and ongoing campaigns.</li><li>An understanding of AI&rsquo;s role in marketing and how it functions in content creation, predictive analytics, customer behavior, and machine learning for content targeting.</li><li>Incredible people skills.</li><li>Has experience with programs such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMRush.</li><li>Has interview skills and is a curious and thoughtful listener.</li><li>Understands how to use data to inform all strategic decisions.</li><li>Operates well with giving and receiving feedback.</li><li>Has a team mentality.</li><li>Bonus skills: HubSpot experience, print or broadcast journalism training, social media video editing skills.</li></ul>Salary: $58k - $70k yearly and eligible for quarterly bonus pool participation after first 6 months with companyBenefits/Perks:<ul><li>Note, some may include:</li><li>Health and dental marketplace reimbursement</li><li>Competitive compensation levels</li><li>Training and career development</li><li>Mentorship from other teams</li><li>Amazing team culture</li><li>5 PTO days within the first 6 months, 8 PTO days within the second 6 month, 15 PTO days annually after first year</li></ul>About Performance Asset ManagementAt Performance Asset Management, we help real estate investors achieve consistent, stress-free income by managing properties with precision, care, and a long-term mindset.
