Prepare drawings through gathering information from plans and specifications without assistance and accurately input data equipment, and fire alarm/sprinkler devices/equipment without supervision</li><li>Create a fire alarm system/fire sprinkler layout and able to determine power supply, loading requirements, and hydro calcs for fire alarm/fire sprinkler systems.</li><li>Accurately be able to survey and identify existing conditions to verify that they support the requirements of the fire alarm system/fire sprinkler design and layout</li><li>Coordinate and communicate with other disciplines and trades</li><li>Complete code review and investigations</li><li>Produce code summary sheets and provide interpretation for junior staff and identify/document design standards, codes, and local amendments</li><li>Document correspondences with AHJs and project team</li><li>Ensure that all internal and external customers and co-workers receive outstanding service by providing a friendly environment</li><li>Stay current with technical aspects of job by reading technical manuals, bulletins, product brochures, etc.</li><li>Maintain a safe and secure work environment by following OSHA and company safety programs</li><li>Adhere to company policies and procedures as well as local, state, and federal regulations and laws</li><li>Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance</li><li>Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation</li><li>Respectfully takes direction from manager</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>

Fire System Designer/Engineer

<div><div>We are looking for <b>Fire Alarm Service and Install Technicians</b> to join our team!</div><div></div><div><br>
As a Fire Alarm Service &amp; Install Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, programming, and repairing of fire alarm panel systems to ensure systems and equipment continue to work according to functional specification.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
In this role you will:</b></div><ul><li>Perform fire alarm commissioning to ensure that systems and equipment continue to work according to functional specification</li><li>Perform on-site routine and emergency troubleshooting, programming, and repairs, in addition to the installation, inspection, testing and servicing of low voltage life safety product lines and fire alarm systems</li><li>Maintain a good positive relationship with the customer and pass on information to the appropriate personnel for follow up, quotes, questions, or concerns</li><li>Identify code and non-conformance issues and correct according to code standards</li><li>Write and maintain detailed work reports and service tickets</li><li>Read and interpret various blueprints, diagrams, submittals, and product manuals to properly program and verify systems</li><li>Provide customer instruction as it relates to proper device use, preventative care, and consistent maintenance to prevent future system malfunctions</li><li>Evaluate customer site for additional equipment and services that customer may require</li><li>Discuss deficiencies noted with customer, explaining the problem and its resolution</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Requirements:</b></div><ul><li>2 years&rsquo; experience as a Fire Alarm Service Technician</li><li>2 years&rsquo; experience as a journeyman low voltage electrician</li><li>High School diploma or equivalent</li><li>NICET II Fire Alarm Systems or higher certification</li><li>EL-O6 (Limited Energy Technician) Electrical License</li><li>Programming experience in EST Fire Alarm Panel a plus</li><li>Working knowledge of NFPA Standards (including 70 and 72) Servicing Guidelines and local AHJ requirements (preferred)</li><li>Knowledge and ability to understand and operate basic computer functions such as Windows, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Apple IOS, and Android</li><li>Valid state issued driver&rsquo;s license with acceptable driving record</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
