&middot; Shift/Schedule: M-F Onsite- 8/5 PM 
 
&middot; Terms: 6 month Contract (with possible extension/conversion) 
 
&middot; Top 3 Skills: We need this professional to have strong knowledge in the shift of upstream skills within the Supply Chain industry, ideally will be a mid-level professional. 
 
&middot; Experience working with customers on: planning, forecasting, strategy, and the flow. Strong relationship skills as they will be working with multiple teams. ERP experience is a plus, but system can be taught, anyone with SAP will be fine. 
 
&middot; Preferred Engineering Degree as this will be resourceful in the role and future growth but Supply Chain Industry exp is a MUST have. 
 
&middot; ** Plant will be closed, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and the Day after Christmas along with New Years, Eve and New Year&rsquo;s Day. *** 
 
&middot; Interview Process: 1 Virtual Teams with Hiring Mgr. followed with Onsite Panel

What do you get to do in this position? 
 
&middot; Ensure a continuous flow of incoming raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies. 
 
&middot; Manage supplier contacts and networks through the purchasing database (Supply Side Platform Portal). 
 
&middot; Manage the replenishment backlog (creation and rescheduling of purchase orders). 
 
&middot; Coordinate Open Purchase Order Management and/or Order Scheduling. 
 
&middot; Manage the upstream backorder portfolio, component shortages, and micromanage to ensure the availability of materials. 
 
&middot; Monitor and improve supplier performance through established KPIs. Work with suppliers on late orders, confirmation details, etc. 
 
&middot; Take daily action regarding Material Requirements Planning (MRP) messages and escalate when issues are repeated. 
 
&middot; Actively participate in continuous improvement and short interval management (SIM).

&middot; At least 3 years of experience in Purchasing/Supply Chain is preferred. 
 
&middot; Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is desirable. 
 
&middot; Proficient in using computers with advanced knowledge of applications (Access, Excel). 
 
&middot; Strong drive and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. 
 
&middot; Ability to work independently with good time management and organizational skills. 
 
&middot; Strong relationship-building and collaborative management skills. 
 
&middot; Strong negotiation skills are a plus. 
 
&middot; Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. 
 
Experience performing cost analysis, such as Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
